I'm looking for a group in the East Bay. I'm moving back after a couple years away and would love to find a regular meetup. Let me know if you are looking for a consistent player and don't mind that I'm relatively new to the game.
Relatively new player here as well. I had a few sessions at the game store in Berkeley, but Wednesdays at 6pm are a little tough for my schedule. Would love to get a group going, even though this post is over a year old. Level 3 Fighter here.
I am also open to creating a game with people in the East Bay. I'm a new player with no experience, but I do know how create a character and I have a few character concepts. I'm open to having a game through some sort of video chat service as well.
i am hosting an all ages game in north Oakland on Fridays from 4pm to 7pm. and we are looking for one more player. if you are interested let me know.
the game is mostly sandbox, but there is a story available and it is a "living" world, in the sense that i am enough of a nerd that i have drawn a basic map and created warring nations and territories and regional politics. there is an evil overlord, and a city of war refuges and displaced people built up around the kobold stronghold, a dangerous magical forest protected by high level (relative to the rest of the world) druids, a magical lake that has spooky legends about it, an abandoned magical road that mysterious became to dangerous for normal people to travel on a couple hundred years ago, leading to most towns having become culturally isolated with only rumors of the outside world (think the shire in the lord of the rings type of cultural isolation) etc etc. lots of fun stuff like that prepped for if people decide to explore or ask questions. the typical level cap for the world is something like 10 and i started the characters out at 6 just for fun, so you are basically already heroes relative to the rest of the campaign world
