Looking for a group ideally UK based to play 1 evening a week. I've played DnD before but my ex is the DM and the locals round here who play are weird or pervy. Just looking for a gang of normal folk who enjoy a casual bit of DnD once a week, ideally beginners or inexperienced players so I don't end up feeling like a wally when I mess up! LMK if you're interested and we will muddle through this together. I don't want to DM btw lol
To add some more info about me: I'm 27 and live up North in the UK, I used to be pretty into gaming and stuff when I was younger but real life just gets in the way. What I like about DnD is you can have a laugh, have some snacks and just go where the wind takes you. I'm pretty laidback, but I'm not super into the nerd culture anymore so would prefer to play with people who see DnD as a casual thing on the side, rather than like an all consuming hobby - not being rude to anyone who is super into DnD, I just can't commit my life to it!

Yooo, 27m in the UK here, looking for a new group to play with regularly.
I've been playing (and DMing) with a group of friends IRL for about 3 years but once a week isn't enough DnD for me. I don't mind DMing something homebrew but I would prefer to play. I have a bit of a power-gamer mindset which has given me a great mechanical understanding of the game, but I love the roleplaying side of things and think having stupid fun is most important part of DnD
Only problem is I work a 2 week alternating schedule so I never have the same nights off 2 weeks in row. Ideal for me would be Tuesdays one week and Wednesday the next.
