The following campaign is an open world setting, taking place in the predominantly human empire of Brobania. This homebrew will be played through Discord with voice only (A MIC IS REQUIRED) and Roll20. This is an 18+ game, that means you must be 18 or older. Races and classes are somewhat limited but all the classics will be optional to the players. Games will be scheduled Tuesdays between 1000 - 1600 (PDT), recurring on a bi-weekly basis (every two weeks). Session 0 will be scheduled as soon as availability will allow.
After twenty years under siege by the Redbrand Fleet, the port of Manhaden has at last been regained by the Empire, thanks to a small company of the Emperor's men and an unexpected rag-tag group of adventurers that happened to be in the right place at the right time. You're a citizen of this town once under siege and have admired these adventurer's from afar as they've dedicated their time to rebuilding Manhaden to its former glory over several months.
Bells chime over the docks this morning in celebration as the port is officially rededicated to his Imperial Majesty Emperor Erock Staurakias. Two of the adventurers who stayed behind for the ceremony stand along the bay in preparation to cut the ceremonial ribbon, alongside the new Baron. You’ve grown tired of your provincial life here and have been working up your courage to approach them with your pitch as to why you would be a good addition to their crew.
