DND 5E. DM looking for new players wanting to learn

Hello! I have a couple of years experience if you include listening to podcasts as learning rules through this method.

I have been a player in a couple of games but have never made it past level 5 and have never found a legitimately serious group to play with.

I enjoy a good mix of both styles of play but could use some practice with my roleplaying.

Time zone is EST.

What is your experience with DND 5E?
