Just a DM looking to run a game for some folk online

Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online

My Experience: Over 10 years PBP RP, 7 years MMORP, and 5 years TTRPG
Location/Timezone: I am UK time zone and have no preference for my players.
Schedule: 6/7pm (UK time) start and running for 4 hours each session. Preferably every other week with flexibility over what day we play (I’d want a regular day but haven’t got one day a week it has to be).

Roles sought: I am looking for a party of players, I aim for 4/5 but could go up to 6 or as low as 3.
Game style: I have been running/playing in a lot of games recently with a circle of close friends who I have played with for many years. Whilst it has been amazing I would like to broaden my circle of friends and bring some D&D joy to others. I personally enjoy games that lean more heavily into the RP, but I don’t expect a bunch of professional actors. I can balance combat vs. exploration vs. horror vs. whatever it is the players would like.

In short, if you are looking for an entertaining game from an experienced DM who wants to set up a long lasting campaign, then I might have the post for you. If you’re interested please just drop some info below. Who you are, what pronoun you prefer, any experience you have with D&D (none necessary and I won’t judge based on it), and a character idea you have (this can be as a little as a name and a weapon).

My games are intended to be a safe space. People can be themselves free of prejudice and accepted for who they are. We will be going through some table rules and setting boundaries in our session zero, but it is a set rule there will be no bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any form. I encourage my players to be honest with me and I will be honest with them. Everybody should have fun.

We like combat, love roleplay and are decently experienced.

We want to play a duo, a dhampir who tries to end with his blood addiction and his friend who is helping him. The dhampir would either be a barbarian who rages at the sight of blood, a fighter or a multiclass of both if it's allowed. My friend is still thinking about the class but he leans more towards magic users.

I'm Paul, I'm 23, use He/Him and I've never played before but I'm a quick learner and this sounds exactly what I need to blossom so to speak! I'm free on Friday evenings usually from 5:00 onwards (I'm also UK) I know that's a little strict timewise but if you do happen to have thoughts for that day then awesome!

I have a couple of characters ready such as an exiled Dwarf [Ragnor], (more in depth backstory than this but just trying to keep it short XD) who as punishment for partaking in a rebellion had their family kidnapped and supposedly killed and a dense half Elf Acolyte [Foolio], little difficult to describe but here goes, not the sharpest tool in the shed, enrolled into the army as a captain by his father; a general, However he is way out of his depth and kept making mistakes, so on the order of the Commander he was sent on a 'Special Mission'. This mission is a fools journey. Asked to retrieve and bring back... the moon. Foolio however has not seen the joke and pledged his faith to the deity of the moon; Selune, in order to get close to her... .   XD. Also have a dragonborn in the works but not fully fleshed out yet :)

I am willing to create new characters if needed as I enjoy it so much! Will do pretty much anything I'm asked to do!

Hiya, name's Tristan (he/him), and I'm 15 and considering i've hardly had any dnd games run past the first few sessions, I'm up to play with pretty much anyone as long as it ends up sticking together! I know the rules inside out from all the prep and characters I've had to make but i still consider myself a bit new when it comes to actual roleplay, having only done a few games with close friends.

Fortunately, I'm also part of the UK timezone and those schedules sound perfect to me, I tend to play paladins myself but I can mix and match depending on the setting, and I apologise in advance if some come off as min-maxing, I enjoy optimising characters.

Some ideas I've had is a Goliath paladin, crusader type, but whom has his daughter's tombstone tied to a chain as his weapon (a reskinned flail), as a reminder of his past that has attached itself to him.
Or a wandering-warrior style monk, think Ryu from street fighter.
Or just a sorcerer, I'm partial towards some simpler characters backstory wise.
