Hello, I am an old school gamer and seemingly forever DM who would really like to be a player in a long term 5e campaign.
I have tried posting here before, with some minor success, got into 1 game that broke up after a few sessions and another that lasted about 4 months.
I am looking for a long term campaign to play in, with people who value teamwork, helping each other succeed in their character goals, and most importantly, an experienced/nontoxic DM.
I am open to joining a new campaign at level 1, or an existing campaign. I do my best to fit into the group dynamic, with original character concepts, that promote party cohesion, and don't try to hog the spotlight.
I prefer caster classes, like warlock, sorcerer, or wizard, but with more than 30 years of player and DM experience in multiple systems, I can step into whatever role a party needs, from rogue to healer.
I also prefer non-human races, but that is not a deal breaker either.
In terms of players, I have no objections to age, pronouns, or any personal matters beyond the scope of the game. I am not bothered by violence, real or imagined, but I do like games without overt sexual content. It is just not my thing...
From gritty hardcore to high fantasy, homebrew or published since 1e, I'm ready to play. Obviously since I am here, I have a D&D beyond account. Roll20, and Astral tabletops. But if you use another, I can get that one too.
You sound perfect for my campaign! We play every Saturday from 11am to 3pm PDT on Zoom. Looking for two players, have had many play and quit, got 4 players left. Class does not matter, players begin at 10th level, playing in Eberron Home Brew right now. Current campaign will last a while. DM has played and been DM since D&D began.
