I am a veteran D&Der, but I only have 6 months experience from 2 years ago with 5e. I want more of it. I bought all the books on D&D Beyond that I need for my characters that I created back then. Please tell me you are still looking for players.
Can someone explain to this old man, how these Discord 'clusters' work? I've seen a few advertised and I guess I'm a little confuzzled. Is it essentially an 'in house' meeting place where DM's and players congregate within an existing world setting that 1-shots and campaigns develop?
Hi RC1! The Bureau is all that remains of a multiverse-spanning Foundation that was/is fighting a war to save vital secrets essential to the survival and freedom of sentient life from a pernicious and also multiverse-spanning Cult. Player characters have been forcibly recruited by the Bureau Core and whisked away to the Castle, the Bureau's HQ outside of spacetime. The Bureau's Directors send Agents out through the TemPortal back to various spots around the multiverse on missions.
There's lots more to the Bureau's lore, but that's the basics. DMs/GMs can host their own worlds beyond the TemPortal and bring in players (Agents) on whatever mission they want, from something very lore-based like 'save this library from the Cult' to something completely independent of the Bureau/Cult storyline, and even non-purposeful chill missions like 'Wander around and explore my world and chat'. DMs can host campaigns within this setting as well. So in our server, DMs/GMs can have entirely different game settings and complete creative freedom, but they can also use some of the Cult and Bureau lore and impact the main storyline. Player characters can interact within the Bureau and accompany each other on missions to different DMs worlds. Does that answer your question? Feel free to ask more!
Hey! I'm brand new to DnD (though I know the basic mechanics); this seems like a cool thing to get into if it's still possible to join... Discord: Nyrcol#5121
Hello! I'm a new player and was told that West Marches are very beginner friendly. Is that true bc I'd like to join your group if that's okay. My discord is ੈ✩‧₊˚ 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 .ᐟ#5754

Thanks Shadowmage! Come play, our DMs have posted games with open spots. It's still our grand opening week :)
Something to distract me from work. Perfect.
Happy to have you MrFireman!
We just announced a grand opening celebration gift too, all new characters can get a free paper bird pet :)

It's basically a network of DMs & Players who can interact & play with each other

Does this server offer campaigns in text or voice settings?
I'd be interested in joining with 5e games. I'd be interested in some more information though. My discord is Caden#0612.
Cool Caden! Ill send you a message in discord, or you can join the server and I'll be happy to chat there.
