Here you are welcomed by the ruler of this land, a vampire, and the horrors that lie within. The ruler is much more powerful than you and she has a dangerous interest in you. Only those who this dread lady allows can leave this land. You will have to gain in power if you wish to challenge her. Or you could simply cater to her whims in hopes that she will allow you to leave or vie to gain power by serving her. Much in this land of Barovia is corrupt and you will be tested. However, there do exist some points of light in this land, if you can find them. Will you rise to be a hero or fall to your flaws? The choice is yours.
