Just moved to the Cbus area, this is the only thread I've found that isn't 2 years old. Would love to join a group and play, down for almost any edition. if anyone has space pls shoot me an email at jp24601@gmail.com : )
Also just moved into Cbus. Too busy during the weekdays but looking for a group for Friday evenings or anytime on Saturdays or Sundays. Have all the manuals for 5E but not enough experience to DM. Just looking to play right now.
Hilliard area player available Saturdays prefer non AL rules. My current group is inconsistent at best. Our last session was in January and I'm having withdrawls.
I run a game of 3.5 ed weekly, it has 3-4 players usualy and its no big deal if party members drop in out out of the campagn. Its held weekly on thursdays i always am open to players new and old. For more details text 6143297543.
I'm looking for a 5e group for long term D&D game play in and around the Columbus, Ohio area. I've been playing AL for a few months now and I'm really enjoying D&D but not liking the jarring switches between modules. AL seems to cater to power players over role-playing. Additionally, with the exception of one DM, all the other DM's I've encountered are regularly late to their own games and lazy in production (i.e. no maps, minis, or really anything but the ability to read a wall of text from the module backstory). I've enjoyed making new friends but because of the way AL works, the party changes every week.
Looking for players for a 5th edition campaign. Took a few years off from DMing but have the itch to run a campaign again. Will be home brew setting with heavy role play . Power gamers may get bored as there are a lot of puzzles and NPC interaction. Looking at a weeknight from 6-10/11 probably Wednesday. Looking for committed players who can make a twice monthly ( or every 10 days or so schedules permitting ) . Will want to meet ahead of time at a LGS. Please respond if interested.
I run a game on Friday nights (5e), but if it is Wednesday nights I will be glad to play.
I run my game out of "Beyond the Board" in Dublin and it might be a suitable location for yours as well. I have years of experience starting in 3.5 and moving on to 5e, I am willing to play any class (although I prefer not a druid.)
I'm planning to start a new 5e campaign some time in January. I'm a DM and new to Columbus, so my table is empty as of yet. If you're interested, let me know and I'll tell you a little about the kind of campaigns I run.
I am interested in playing in a game, but I have never played before. Is there anyone who is willing to teach and let an eager new player into their game?
