Shock! Awe! Ice! Dragons! ----------------------------------------- Hello thrill-seeking adventurers! Before you I offer a story of hidden danger, newfound heroism, and the age-old tale of victory and defeat. Rumors stir up and down the Sword Coast that a white dragon named Fimbulwinter has made shelter within the snow-capped range of the Sword Mountains. Surveying the skies of Icespire Peak, the dragon has been sighted more and more frequently in recent tendays. Nearby orc tribes have been displaced and disoriented, resulting in newfound leadership within the dark Neverwinter Wood. Even closer to civilization stirs rumors of a manticore sighting near the frontier town of Phandalin. Built on the ruins of a much older settlement, Phandalin has seen farmers, woodcutters, fur traders, and prospectors all drawn by stories of gold and platinum in the foothills of the Sword Mountain within the last four years. These brave citizens are becoming more and more unsettled by the increased activity of Fimbulwinter. Because if they strike...who will save them?
Sup ya'll! I'm Roarkt, I'mover 18 (he/him), and I'm looking to form a new group for a weekly game of Dragon of Icespire Peak. It's a beginner friendly module, and thankfully you're working with a beginner friendly Dungeon Master too. I've both played and hosted official and homebrew D&D 5e games for about 5 years now, and I'd love to get back into the swing of things with some like-minded folks off the Interwebs! My games are a good combination of roleplay and combat, but I think my previous players would agree that it's about 65% roleplay to 35% combat. We're playing a tabletop-roleplaying game, and I hope we're all in for a fun, collaborative storytelling experience. That being said, when combat breaks out, it must be meaningful, challenging, and rewarding. Otherwise, why would you choose to fight for your lives as adventurers? I'm up for any ideas you'd like to run by me for characters, and I'd love to collaboratively craft a good story and character for you to enjoy playing in the game. I'm unfamiliar with the 2024 5e rules currently, so this will be using the rules of the 2014 PHB. We'll also be using Discord for voice communication, Roll20 for visual representation, and D&DBeyond for sheet management.
THAT BEING SAID... ---------------------------------
I have not posted a time yet for this game as I am fairly free throughout the week. I am CST, and I would prefer an afternoon game as I work until 3pm during the week, or a late-night weekend game. Assume this will be a game later during the day, and reply with your name (or alias), if you're over 18 y/o, your Discord username, your TTRPG experience, and what one thing your ideal D&D game would consist of. Character creation will be discussed privately, and any questions are welcome here or once we've established communications. Thanks for your time, and happy dungeoneering!
Hi! My name is Roe, I am [Over 18] and have a few years of player D&D experience under my belt, though had taken a long pause due to personal reasons. I’m now looking into playing more often again and would be very interested in joining up with you! My discord is Roguefox232, feel free to shot me a friend request and we can talk more over dms!
Hi there, my name is Jae and I'm [over 18]. I have about a year and a half experience with 5e and Roll20. I'm a dad or 3 y/o twins so late night would be great. My Discord is Jaevaan. Thanks and have a good one!
Sounds good! I'm an old school gamer, just call me Mike. He/Him if that stuff really matters and I have a few toons ready to go. My Discord is gm_dm_alexander and I have an open availability.
hi i noticed your post, call me blaze, i'm [over 18] and i have about a two year maybe 1 and a half year experience, i don't mind what time session happens but my mondays and fridays are taken as i have sessions then, trueblaze9 is my discord user if you wish to talk there
Hello, my name is Michael [over 18] and I have been playing DnD for five years now on and off. Late night games would be best for me starting at around 8pm on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, if those don't work for others I understand. Perfect DnD game for me is a chance to escape into a fantasy world and have fun with like minded people. My discord is mikeginger.
Hi! I’m Kilian [Over 18] (he/him). I haven’t played in a while, but I’ve got some experience. I’m available pretty much any day at the moment and will play at 4 AM if I have to. Honestly, the most important thing to me is that everyone’s nice, and that sessions actually happen more than once every few months when the stars align. My last few games all ended because players kept droppingout one by one until the DM shut the game down. I gave up for a while, but I really wanna play again. Discord:kilian4807
Hi! My name is Sina. I am in fact over 18, my discord is oddestrocket, i don’t really have a lot of experiences playing dnd besides a few games of a never finished campaign. I think my ideal dnd game is a good mixture of feeling cool but also having moments where I make a complete fool of myself!
Hello, my name is Gavin and I would love to join your campaign. I am over 18, and my discord rum_556. I’m pretty new to dnd but I’ve played a few homebrew dark souls campaigns with friends. My ideal campaign would definitely consist of exploration and the term “rule of cool” but if not idc, im just trying to find people to play with that are also within the same timezone.
Hi, I'm Jolly. I have been playing since 2018. I have played a few modules and a couple of homebrew games. I have been away from the game for about a year, and looking to get into a new game. The only things I expect from a game are that everyone has fun and respects the other players' agency
Im Jess (discord: JessYellowBlue) and over 18 (She/They). While I have yet to play dnd myself I have some experience with other games like this and watch a lot of dnd content. My ideal game would be a lot of roleplay and just getting to dive both into the story and the character. I want to be able to have to think like my character and try and play that role.
