Game style: High Combat, High RP, Low Puzzles. Campaign is gritty at times and may include limited adult content (murder, torture, carnal pleasures, etc.)

About Us: Current DM and Players are working professionals who don't take ourselves too seriously and like to have a good time. We do take the game somewhat seriously in terms of commitment and approach to how we play. Player group is currently all male in our 30s to 40s, but not limited by any means.

Current Party: Party is currently level 9 and consists of Conquest Paladin, Blood Hunter, Abjuration Wizard

Expectations: You, the player(s), will invest time into developing a robust backstory for your character, a bastion (including a couple of minor character NPCs and non-combat NPCs), alignment with a house of the kingdom (Game of Thrones-ish). In game expectations - be an active contributor to the situation, story, combat, etc. Roleplay is welcome and encouraged, but never a requirement. Out of game expectations - we run this through a discord and occasionally have limited "downtime" homework for prep for the following week and ask that you participate here as you are able, so that we can maximize game day. We are looking for people who intend to have 100% attendance, but understand things come up and ask that if you need to miss that you proactively communicate.

Campaign Overview:

The Empire is vast and thriving, players are recently anointed minor lords within one of several houses within the Empire and each have been blessed with a special gift - a fate. You will know your fate and have some input on said fate before you create your character. the fates manifest as powerful boons, legendary weapons, etc. The Fey are sworn enemies of the empire and fey magic has been banned across the land. Our party first found itself responding to Fey incursions originating from their Feywild forests against commonsfolk, kidnapping and murdering poor farmers, their families, and putting villages, crops, and livestock to the torch. The party followed these fey into the Feywild, ultimately hunting down and destroying an upstart Fey leader, only to uncover a much darker and sinister thread that indicates a large scale orchestration of Fey activity and possibly some sort of corruption from an unknown source. Additionally, it appears that obsidian, red, and black, dragon forces are involved whether through some sort of voluntary or involuntary way. The party then sought out the kingdom's foremost expert on Obsidian dragons, which has lead them to a place known as the Ashmount, a fortress within a volcano only to find it under heavy assault of adult red and black dragons and hoards of kobolds. The weary defenders of the Ashmount have shared what they know and the party is now seeking a face to face meeting with one of the Fey responsible for this onslaught, if only to buy time for reinforcements. The stakes are high and the fate of the Ashmount and possibly the kingdom is currently in the hands of these fragile negotiations.

Looks like this party could use a support and I've got a couple of character ideas in mind if ya need a bard or druid. I'm 25, got a good mic and internet connection and I have 3 and a half years experience as a player for 5e. I know 5.5e fairly well so I can jump straight in with you fellas.
