In the center of the world stack, the Primary Disk. 4 kingdoms split the disk into lands of Ash, Snow, Bark and Sand. You are a denizen of one such Kingdom, a mortal filled with aspiration, greed or longing for a better life.

You now seek to find your purpose, your destiny, at the Peak of the Spire. The Pillar of the World Stack. Will you climb it, seeking to scale into the clouds and ask audience of the gods or will you delve into its depths burrowing deeper into the darkness of the lower Disks. Whatever the choice, this, is The Spire.

Greetings fellow TTRPG enthusiasts, my name is Al or Lil'al or Alan. I'm a Novelist and a Voice actor who has been running 5e and numerous other TTRPG systems for the past 6+ years and I want to record and post some really cool DND sessions in my Homebrew Dark Fantasy setting and I want YOU to fill my table.

Now just off the bat this is an 18+ game and I'd prefer to have people around my age range to play with (22). I Would encourage creatives to apply, those who get really stuck in with their character creation and go above and beyond to immerse themselves in the world.

I like to incorporate backstory elements into the overarching narratives of games I run. To encourage the building of a detailed character I have a deep and rich homebrew setting for you to chew through and really get your character hat on. Now speaking of setting, what is "The Spire".

The World of the Spire is actually a World "Stack" which takes influence from pirate times when they believed the world was a disk and you could just sail off the edge. In the Spire, you very much so can. The World Stack is an innumerable amount of Disks all held up by one massive... Spire and all stacked one atop the other.

The Realm and the World Disks themselves were all carved out by a Divine Council, a Council dragged and pulled from countless different realities to Serve the will of Outer Gods who desired them to make a new world and planes filled with life all upheld by the Spire. These Outer Gods live in a plane far beyond any divine realm. They are the creators of the fabric of countless universes and their will is barely interoperable by even the Divine Council themselves.

However in this world you are Mortal and in this world Mortals, for centuries have instead of warring and killing each other. Put their minds and their bodies towards climbing the Spire, many believe that reaching the top grants you wishes and an audience with the gods, perhaps even divinity itself.

But to get there you have to brave The Spire's many levels, some contain horrors sealed away during the process of realities creation, others are "rest" levels with their own contained societies. No matter what you think, the climb will be hellish and push your sanity to it's limits. Do you believe you have what it takes to climb?

The game will have a darker tone and include some elements like body horror, extreme violence and gore. If any of these topics make you uncomfortable I'd suggest not applying. Additionally if you use grimdark or dark fantasy settings as an excuse to be a d*ck or a creep to other players you ALSO need not apply.

My inspirations are H.R Giger, Lovecraftian Horror, Soulsborne Works, Terry Pratchett and a few others. That's the sort of aesthetic and vibe I'm working with.
