Gwinduil Morloth, known simply as “Gwin,” is an elf who has wandered the lands of Tal’Dorei for years, not as a harbinger of death, but as a guardian of life’s natural beauty. Though his heritage ties him to shadows and the Raven Queen, he carries a gentle presence and a sincere love for all living things, treasuring the fleeting joys of life. Travelers and villagers alike often find comfort in his quiet, patient demeanor, and he has a natural talent for helping others feel safe and understood.
Gwin has spent much of his life traveling from village to village, protecting the living from threats like undead and corrupted magic, always seeking to restore balance and honor the cycle of life. Recently, the Raven Queen tasked him with investigating the Lost Beacon of Unknown Light in the Cliffkeep Mountains — a mysterious source of power that may be divine, or may be something darker. While he accepts this responsibility with solemn care, he follows it not only as duty but as a chance to continue helping those in need, offering guidance, protection, and friendship wherever he goes.
Anything noteworthy your character has done to get to lv 3?:
Gwinduil’s rise to level 3 was forged in shadowed struggle and quiet heroism. He first walked the roads near Whitestone during the Briarwoods’ tyranny, where he joined the hidden resistance to combat the undead plaguing the city. He ambushed roaming patrols of zombies, guided villagers to safety, and fought in the forests and ruins surrounding the city. In these trials, he called fully upon the Raven Queen’s power, realizing his mission was not only to destroy undeath but to honor life’s natural cycle. These battles, along with subsequent hunts against wandering wights and necromantic remnants across Tal’Dorei, honed both his skill and his resolve, culminating in the Oath that now guides him.
Things you or your character want to do or experience:
Both Gwinduil and I are driven by curiosity and compassion, and are eager to experience the lives and stories of the companions we play with. Beyond the task the Raven Queen has given Gwin, he wishes to witness the bonds and struggles of those around him, to see courage and kindness in action, and to protect and learn from his allies. He hopes to explore the lands of Tal’Dorei alongside them, uncover hidden truths, and understand the many ways life, death, and heroism intertwine in a world full of fleeting beauty.
Keep posting if interested.
