I’ve been watching some dnd channels and you tube and decided I want to give it a try. I’ve literally never played before so I only have a base idea from what I’ve seen. The social and role play aspects seem like it would be a lot of fun. I’d prefer a 18+ group (I’m in my 30s).
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: brand new Location/Timezone: US, CST Availability: Evenings, any day Preferred role: Player Game style: since I’m new I would like a more casual but well structured game. I’m pretty open to anything as I’ll be learning as I go. Really not sure what to expect.
I have a group that's just started Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and will be going into Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage afterwards. They're still level 1 and have just done 1 fight so far. We generally play weekly on Saturdays at 2 or 3:00 PM EST. We use the 5e 2014 ruleset with very few modifications (mainly just QoL stuff). I'd be happy to help you learn how to play as well. Let me know if that's something you're interested in. (Also we're all 18+)
If your availability on weekday mornings/midday is a bit more open during the holidays right now, I may have a one shot & learning the basics workshop that could suit you. Please take a look at my post and reply there if you're interested. :)
