Hello. Zuko here. Not really. I'm Polydios (at least on Discord), but I'll hardly post a thread begging to play a game and be absolutely dead serious, will I?
Right. But to the point: I often hear stories about how, in D&D, absolutely no one plays certain character alignments right or how a certain alignment is technically impossible. Caught myself creating a few characters recently, which means I am very much missing playing the game and I realized the characters I'm creating fall into these "hard mode" alignments. So... I was wondering if there's a good natured DM out there willing to help me test my characters and give me a chance in a campaign or two.
Here are the characters so you know for a fact what I mean. Watered down so I'm not taking up too much time, and because I would love to work with the DM on finer points to make certain the characters fit into whatever world they get thrown in:
1) Chaotic neutral human monk. Middle aged, been around, kinda given up on life.
2) True Neutral wizard. Kinda cliché. Has morals, but doesn't especially care who or what he's working for as long as he believes knowledge is to be gained and balance is maintained.
3) lawful good paladin. Paladin is her job, not her class. She's a barbarian. Basically a holy zealot working on her anger because she believes it gets in the way of truth, justice, and doing what is right. But it's hard and a lot of people need punched in the face.
Scared off yet? Makes no sense to ask that because you'd have left the thread already if you were. Here's more things to consider:
Timezone: CST or Central Standard Time (UTC-6)
Availability: 8am-1pm OR 4pm-9pm every day, 8am Friday - 9pm Sunday
I am older than 21. Won't be off drinking with anyone, but I am older than 21.
Pretty sure I'm LGBTQ+ friendly? May slip up with pronouns. Try to correct myself.
Experience level: Moderate. Have played many times before, but never had a chance for any long term campaigns.
Can't think of anything else. Once again: Discord is Polydios. Respond wherever. Thank you for your consideration.
