I am Dungeonmaster and thought I might offer what guidance I can, since I don't have a fully formed group of players ready to take advantage of this great opportunity. Here's what I did when I was learning the ropes of online play culture. (Feel free to check my post history for examples!)
Build a feedback loop and drown your ego in your players unspoken behaviors. Start a Discord and promote yourself as a fledgling DM learning how to run games online and set the expectations that players will be helping you learn. Get a group of 20 players and run 2-3 games a month for those players- but do NOT cancel or postpone those games no matter what. If you're sad//depressed/overwhelmed/tired/sick? Pad your chair with a big puffy blanket and make tea and run that game. Build that resilience that gives the players the main thing they need in D&D- a reliable experience they can depend upon to set their imaginations free. It seems hard, but think long-term- months not days.
Enjoy playing a lot. Most DM's become forever DMs and forget "the sauce". You have to play with different groups and with different DMs and learn how much a player group is a recipe of personalities- you have to know how to work with the ingredients to cook up the best experience for everyone. I play at LEAST once a week and never quit that group- and it's not pretty on some sessions.

I am interested! I would call myself new to the game as well (have had experience with it before, but I'm relearning the basics now). I'm based in the U.S. (PST), also female, and have pretty wide availability, so I shouldn't have any conflict with the rest of the group. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if anyone else wants to join, and hopefully we can set up a session! I would be playing a Halfling Warlock.
Hi there, I'm a pretty experienced player that loves to help new players and DMs learn the game better. I'm well versed in the mechanics enough to help run a campaign but not really good at the story telling aspect so I stick to playing instead of DMing. If you're interested in a player who can also act as a co-dm for the mechanics and such as well as helping teach other players then feel free to reach out to me on here or discord @w1k1dh0p (yes, that's a zero). As far as my availability, I'm free to chill and talk most days after 2:30 PST, but only really have Saturdays free for actual game sessions.

Hi..
So I'm brand spanking new to D&D .
It's always interested me but never had anyone to play it with.
I'm looking to start a newbies group so we can learn together.
I would love to be the DM to learn that role.
I'm based UK
I'm female and am pretty much available all the time so hopefully we could sort a group out.
