I enjoy TT Gaming, I started with 2nd Edition in 1980, 3.0, 3.5, 5.0 Then a few of the others. I enjoy playing, and if I could find players I would not mind creating a New adventure using some old maps, and new populations. I am very interested, i have played on several Platforms but only ran Roll 20 Online as a DM, however I have run many D&D games, and played in the past too. I always tell people I am a G.O.D. Good Old Dude. That aside I am a musician if that helps, I love to weave a tale. I am so tired of video games now days, nothing decent except survival games. I can never go wrong with TT gaming. It has always been exciting. I also enjoy the comradery, the sharing of thoughts makes games so much more.
I'm totally new to DnD and have been trying to find some beginner friendly groups - so many say they are but then you join and they treat you like you're dumb for not knowing things or get frustrated when you make mistakes! I'm UK based but am very much a night owl (and unemployed) so my schedules align mostly with US timezones, if it's still okay could you send some info over please?? If not no worries! :)
I think this is perfect for me! I haven't played more than a couple of sessions in person (I've never played online) and I don't think I'm ready for DMing, but I know a good amount about what playing looks like and how mechanics work. I'm under 18 in Mountain Daylight Time (US) and Friday/Saturday nights are best for me.

I’m helping my 22 year old brother find a D&D group. He is on the autism spectrum (think mentality of a 15-17 year old) and completely new to the game. He does best with voice communication and has difficulty with reading and typing, so we are looking specifically for a Discord voice-based game.
He is very enthusiastic and really wants to learn, but needs a slower pace and a patient, supportive DM.
Would your group be open to something like this, or do you have space for a beginner like him?
I would like to join. Played a longtime ago but new to online games.

Total Newb but have always loved RPGs. Built a character but have never played before.
Located in USA CST. Available evenings and weekends.
Would love a friendly group willing to teach and train a complete novice.

Hi! I saw your post and wanted to reach out.

Thank you so much for your time.
