I’m putting together a long-term D&D 5e (2014) campaign focused heavily on story, mystery, roleplay, and character-driven moments. We’ve got a few players already and are looking for 2–3 more to round out the group.
The campaign takes place in Morrow’s End, a forgotten town hidden deep in the north, surrounded by black forests and endless fog. No one knows how they arrive there. No one knows how to leave.
By day, it’s quiet. Calm. Almost normal.
By night, the town changes.
Doors are barred. Streets are empty. No one steps outside after dark.
Because when the sun sets, something begins to walk.
People vanish. Voices call from the dark. Strange figures stand motionless beneath lantern light. Roads twist. Homes change. And every path leading out of town somehow leads right back in.
The people of Morrow’s End live by one rule above all else:
Do not go outside at night.
This is a dark fantasy / mystery campaign with strong inspiration from things like From, gothic horror, and psychological suspense focused more on tension, atmosphere, and unraveling what’s wrong with the town than pure combat.
