LFP, Play-by-Post One-Shot using Discord: The Heart of Light

You and your comrades are relaxing at a table in an inn, recounting the thrills and close calls from your previous adventure. A hooded stranger quietly slips into an empty chair at your table. "Please pardon my intrusion", he whispers, "but I must speak with you on a matter of gravest urgency. I am a servant of the Wizard Mekkari, and I contact you on his behalf. My master is a powerful wizard and has spoken up against the tyrannical guildmasters who control this city. He has since been banished from the region and has tasked me with recovering an artifact of great power from his country mansion that will assist him in defeating the guildmasters for good."
"The unfortunate thing is that Mekkari is a little forgetful and does not remember where he placed it. Even worse, he has placed several nasty traps throughout his mansion"

I am recruiting 2 to 4 more players to participate in my PbP One-Shot. The group currently consists of a Human Monk and a Half-Elf Rogue. I will be using D&D Beyond along with Discord to run the game and will be using some AI Generated images to help the party visualize the scenes better.

- The Race and Class of your character. Please use the races and classes listed in the 2014 or 2024 Player Handbooks.
- Please use Point- Buy or Standard Array to create your characters.
- The level we will be starting off at will be Level 6 (this may be adjusted based on the number of players who want to join)

My goal is to post several times during the week and I ask that you participate regularly as well. I anticipate that if we all post at a regular rate, we should have this One-Shot completed in 1 or 2 months. Also, depending on the success and interest with this One-Shot, there is a sequel that we can pursue.
