I will throw my hat in the ring..... if you will have me....
Of course. I will warn that these villains are mostly not reasonable and will try to pick fights; Tiamat is not known for being nice

Hello hello, I am Mr. Dicestone, a fellow adventurer and Planeswalker, enjoying the realm of wonders and wizardry and clicky math rocks. When not crafting the wonderful and whimsical world of Dan-thurás, I’m also working on custom spells and subclasses (hopefully coming soon to a forum or campaign near you) and other enjoyable settings for people to experience or staring with my third eye into space, rolling dice for no reason
I have a question about character creation. Can I use a house background from Forge of the Artificer, or do I have to use a background that I can justify through RP?
As long as you can come up with a good narrative reason, I’m chill with whatever background.

Darn, there's no way I can justify a house background from FotA narratively. I just wanted it for the always prepared spells its origin feat gives lol
I'll just go with a PHB background.
Made my character: Fuzzpaw, the shifter wizard with bear-like features.
Fuzzpaw grew up in a small cottage in the Dalelands with his human mother and werebear father. All his life he dreamed of doing something more than his quaint life could offer. At the age of 12, Fuzzpaw snuck into a caravan headed west and ended up in cosmopolitan Waterdeep. Full of the gumption of youth, he set out to apprentice himself to a wizard. The uptight Waterdhvian spellcasters continually dismissed Fuzzpaw, until one finally took pity on him and brought him under his wing. Now six years later, Fuzzpaw is ready to set off on his first adventure!
That will help inform me on any specific NPCs you can meet, who narratively could explain why your character is an abjures, for instance

Aurelius Valerian Septimus Caelum was born into a respected family and raised within the halls of a temple, where he was expected to become a scholar and priest. He studied scripture, history, and rhetoric, but found himself drawn to the soldiers who passed through the temple's gates and the stories they carried from distant battlefields. When war came, he left the cloister and joined the army as a newly ordained war cleric, believing faith was best tested through service rather than sermons. Over the following decades he served as a battlefield chaplain, tending the wounded, burying the dead, and helping frightened soldiers find the courage to continue marching. The battlefield taught him lessons no temple ever could, and many of the wisest people he met were ordinary soldiers whose names never appeared in any history book. Those experiences shaped him into a practical man who values duty, perseverance, and action above titles or reputation. As the years passed, the soldiers under his care shortened his name to "Cass," and eventually he preferred it to the grand name given to him at birth. Though he still possesses the education of a noble and the faith of a priest, he presents himself as little more than an aging veteran wrapped in a weathered cloak. Cass carries the stories of those he served beside and often shares them as lessons, believing that wisdom earned through experience is rarely found in books. When rumors of the Cult of the Dragon began to spread, he recognized the signs of a coming disaster and took up his shield once more, determined to ensure that the mistakes of the past would not be repeated.
I had made a private chat but misnamed it and idk how to fix it. Please disregard it (two of you know)

I would like to tell the story of a wizard, school
of war…
I will pull their story and sheet together tonight….
Oh, and Fuzzpaw is going to eventually be an Abjuration Wizard, in case you need to know before the game starts.
