Title is the jist of it but to break it down I've noticed most games nowadays lean super far into the comedy aspect. They almost never daring to run with darker themes or do anything that might go against the grain/going directly against characters ideal/morals. Comedy is fine and the end goal is to have fun but I'm looking for something a little gritty with comedy coming from interactions and choices rather than the world itself being overly goofy. I also prefer to play with people who don't minmax and actually let there characters fail and have flaws that includes trying not to metagame knowledge that character realistically shouldn't have. I'm mainly looking for a group to join but I can bring 1 or 2 extra people if required in order to fill out numbers. Last and most important thing especially if I bring someone with me is I/we will not not sanitize our language for someone's feelings people need to have thicker skin and realize words are just words obviously we're not going to be slinging slurs(maybe fantasy ones if that's the setting) but if something is stupid we're probably going to say something in a way that would probably get this taken down with how this site is now.
Hey, if you’re interested, I have an asynchronous, text-based homebrew adventure with a slot or two open. The world functions similarly to the Forgotten Realms but with less historical baggage.
There are lighthearted interactions as well as serious moments. I will warn that some combat encounters may be challenging, and that there is a deep plot planned; one that the others aren’t even aware of. This world is one where you can contribute to the lore (among other things, previous participants have fleshed out some tribes of the north, inspired an ancient conflict, and added their touch to the world).

Hello hello, I am Mr. Dicestone, a fellow adventurer and Planeswalker, enjoying the realm of wonders and wizardry and clicky math rocks. When not crafting the wonderful and whimsical world of Dan-thurás, I’m also working on custom spells and subclasses (hopefully coming soon to a forum or campaign near you) and other enjoyable settings for people to experience or staring with my third eye into space, rolling dice for no reason
