"The Bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame."
We need a LOT more players/DMs that are night owls or live on the other side of the world.
There are several already but it's such a small amount of the population :(
Being a 24/7 World concept is awesome, if only we had as many 24/7 people hehe... Come Please! don't worry about Terra time being EST.... a lot of things are nocturnal :P
Well, i would like to say in my short time of being part of Terra, that the staff team are always nice and willing to help, thats the staff and active community members are always willing to help, like... i asked a few random people for help in creating a character, moving on to creating a bot, and just general questions too.
The only real issue i see with Terra is that the server can seem really daunting at first, and people may get confused/bewildered/overwhelmed by it, and may need to streamline their introductory channels. I know i procrastinated it, and i've spent a bit of time helping my friends that joined after me get started. But yea, just go to general chat or message someone and they'll normally sort you out.
If that's my only thing to suggest then i gotta give Terra a solid 8/10 overall.
We use homebrew items but only after it has been screened and tested by the homebrew team. As for being a PC and NPC, yes you can have a PC and ask for the NPC role to be able to run shops for other players. If you wanted to you could even sign up for the Apprentice DM tag and learn how to build and run balanced encounters for the players.
I've been on Terra for a bit now, and it has some flaws, but overall it's a lot of fun and has a great community of people in it. It's a bit confusing and daunting at first, but everyone is super helpful and supportive, and once you start getting into it everything starts to click into place. I highly recommend popping in and trying it out!

So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.
I *love* this server! It's amazing- a big group, well maintained, great world, and so fun! The rules are strict but fair, and the staff are involved, reasonable, and amazing! If you're looking for a Discord D&D server, this is the one for you!
The way the server is set up, there is never a limit on the amount of members we will be accepting. You are more than welcome to come check it out. I encourage everyone to check it out. You may love it as a way to get in some dnd to hold you over between sessions. You may come in and check it out and realize it isn't quite how you wanna play d&d. You wil never be sure unless you come on in and check it out.
Hope to see you in Terra, make sure to say hello in the public ooc channel!
We are truly very sorry. There was some miscommunication with people not understanding what the admins were doing to fix the situation, and a few people over reacted. On behalf of Terra, speaking as someone who is also fairly new and not an admin or anything, I would like to say that we are very sorry, and that this sort of thing is not normal for Terra, and that it should not happen again. We are very sorry if this has left people with a negative view of our server, and we understand if you do not want to come back, but we hope that you can try to again someday.

As Tj said, it's unfortunate that happened while you were i there. It was a rough time at that moment, but Terra is moving forward. Hope you find what you are looking for out there and are always welcome back to Terra anytime.

I would be interested!
I have a couple questions: is Home Brew allowed (mainly HB races)? And could one play a PC and NPC as well? (If not that’s fine!)

Thank you for the quick response!

I can say I checked this server out... and it was pretty rough with a fight breaking out in chat the day I joined (which was today).
I think I will pass.
