Summary

The Silver Sigil is an ancient order of scholars that has evolved over the centuries. Some might call them a magical mafia, but they work in the shadows of every nation pushing the world towards a better understanding of arcane magic. Chaos is building to erupt in the continent of Galken. A new Shieldhand has been appointed to rule over the city-state of Krelor’s Fist and her political alliances are threatening the thin peace the continent enjoys. The Silver Sigil has grown wary of the situation and questions if the Sigil's leadership is prepared for the coming storm this new rising dictator will cause. They have called together the Silver Senate for a vote to elect new leadership. Three candidates have stepped forward with a plan. The Senate must decide which plan will best move towards the Silver Sigil’s goals: promote unity among the nations, and further the world’s understanding of magic. You are a member of this shadowy organization, and your vote now matters.

Overview

This will be a completely open sandbox campaign. The players will have the opportunity to choose the theme of their campaign by voting for a theme that echoes their values (The three choices being: working more subtly from the shadows, working in the open as ambassadors agents and adventurers, or working a blend of the previous two option).  After that the players will be placed in the world and allowed to work towards their goal however they see fit. Every game will be live streamed. The Ilderon Tales Vision

The Ilderon Tales is a community of some 30+ players and dungeon masters who have come together to embrace the story telling aspect of 5e dnd. The aim of the Ilderon Tales is to create an environment where interesting fantasy tales can be created and shared with others. This comes with three agreements we have with each other:

1. Commitment to the story: The driving aspect of the Ilderon Tales is the story. By joining and playing, understand there is a commitment to telling a tale that is worth someone’s time and is interesting or moving to experience or listen to.
2. Playing in the campaign means you will create & experience the story: Stories inherently involve conflict. Conflict is hard and might not be fun as you’re going through it, but looking back the experience becomes more worthwhile because of the conflict.
3. We are a community: Don’t be afraid to talk or ask questions. If you have problems with the admin or the dungeon master, speak up and voice them. Feedback only ignites improvement.

Session Information

This game is completely free to play, all the campaigns and games I run are. Tipping is encouraged but not expected. Saturday at 6:30pm CDT. Discussing character creation, party composition, and scheduling. We currently have 3 players, and we are looking for 3 more players in total.

Howdy doodles!! I have been DM'ing for nearly a decade. I am a very story focused and RP heavy dungeon master. With a background in stand up comedy and writing Epic Fantasy fiction I bring a unique flavor of off-centered story telling to the table. My favorite type of games to run are political thrillers, my general philosophy: the scariest thing is not the monster lurking in the cave, but the scariest thing is what the unsuspecting person next to you is willing to do.

 Hello! You can call me Annie or Q, I don't really mind. I prefer she/her pronouns. My favorite part about playing D&D is the fact that you can create whatever world you want to, and be whoever you want to be. I really enjoy role playing and creating characters, so when I found out about D&D, I was really exited. I am under 18, but I was really intrigued by the summary of the world, along with the fact that we will be able to commit to the story. The previous two campaigns I've been in have been loose, and they ended up splintering since no one was really dedicated to continuing the game. My discord name is Annie_Q#3728.

more about me: I have limited experience playing D&D as the first group I played with had REALLY bad scheduling issues that ended up disbanding the group after 3 or 4 sessions. But i have loved the game since i saw full session played, I just for some reason have not looked for another group till now so would love to play. Even with not playing much i thing i have a good understanding of the game as i am a big fan of critical role and before that i followed acquisitions inc. but i am sure my role playing could use some work.

I would like to join your community even if you don't find a place for me in game, as i am in the planing stage of my own campaign and would love to have people to bounce ideas off of and some input on thing a person is caught off guard by there first time DMing. Hello My name IS Havik I am a 40 yr father and husband who has only been playing/DM'ing for a few years and I have found that the attendance boss has beat every group for me. I love 5E because it is the culmination of my gaming life. I have played many RPG video games then progressed into MMORPGs and when my raid group asked about D&D I said why not.
