I am currently DMing a group that just finished the LMoP Starter set and wish to continue. We have had a few members drop however at the conclusion, and thus are looking to fill a few empty spots. We are currently looking for 1-2 more players.
New and experienced players alike are welcome to join, this entire original group was completely new to D&D when we started, but have been playing every week since early May so have some experience under our belts now :)
Sessions are weekly on Fridays at 9 PM (Eastern US). I don't care what time zone you're in if you can make this time, it's great.
I would say the average session runs until 12-12:30 AM. We have played longer, but as soon as one person says they'd like to stop after 12 we do (we had a game run until 3 AM once, just once though and only because everyone was OK with it, If you have to run at 12, just speak up and we will all stop). I initially had a hard stop at 1 AM, but that has since changed, and it's up to the entire group -- as I said, once one player wants to stop, we do (including myself).
This will be a homebrewed adventure with some parts taken from published modules, but really after completing LMoP the story at the moment is wide open
The current party is level 5, and contains a barbarian, rogue, druid, and ranger
More info is in the Roll20 listing
Character creation (you would start at level 5) and homebrew rulings are listed on the Roll20 page as well, please apply there in the Applications thread after reading through the character creation rules. I'm ok if you apply here too, just read the character creation rules first.
Feel free to ask any questions.
Adventure Description below:
After embarking on a simple mission to deliver some goods for a dwarf acquaintance named Gundren Rockseeker, the group seemingly stumbled upon something much larger than the new mining quarry implied. After rescuing Gundren his brother Nundro, the team defeated the nefarious Black Spider, an evil male drow who's intentions remain unknown. They then learned the fate of the third Rockseeker brother, Tharden, who was brutally murdered by the Black Spider's henchmen.
Following up some other leads from the new prospecting town of Phandalin, the party went to the abandoned city of Thundertree which they found to have been taken over by a scourge of zombies, and a much more intimidating enemy, a young green dragon! With a heroic effort, the dragon was beheaded, and a druid by the name of Reidoth sought to seek the restoration and return of life to the ruins of Thundertree.
Returning to Phandalin once again a priestess of Tymora, the goddess of luck and good fortune, by the name of Sister Garaele requested an escort to the Dessarin River Valley by way of the rarely traveled and dangerous Triboar Trail. While traveling, because of a previous encounter and a subsequent vision by Bon Traef, the party sought out a necromancer by the name of Hamun Kost. While the necromancer himself was dealt with easily enough, a ritual of some evil nature brought forth a vision of Orcus, the Blood Lord of the Undead.
While just a vision, the adventurers are definitely on edge with the evil seemingly mounting in the Northern Sword Coast. A drow on the surface, a dragon occupying a scourged city, a necromancer performing a ritual to the Blood Lord. While none of these incidents are extremely rare in the land of Faerun, one must wonder, with such close timing and proximity are these incidents related or merely a coincidence?
Edit: added a few notes to some of the bullets on 9/26
Additionally, I do have a campaign here on DNDBeyond for this group, with content sharing enabled -- the MM, PHB, DMG, SCAG, and PotA books are purchased. We don't really use the campaign here for much, as there isn't much to do, but it's useful in character creation and rule lookups. I'm sure I use it way more than the players :)
If you haven't found someone for this slot yet I am interested. I can make that timing and I am an experienced 5e player/DM so I am quite familiar with the rules. I'd be new to roll20 but I'm certain I could pick it up.

Hi Thanks for the interest, sorry but I did fill the group. I'll update the title here to reflect that.
