Experience: Veteran DM returning after a long layoff.

Location/Timezone: Canada/Time Zone Eastern Standard Time

Availability: Wednesday Night Online 6pm to 10pm EST

Players: Looking for players over age 25 preferably... any skill level. Our group has a few 40+ year olds.

Game style: Adult (we do curse) Story focused gaming with 50/50 role playing and combat.

Synopsis

Bloodied and battered you awaken aboard a derelict ship. Looking around you see small fires, billowing smoke, and dead bodies that litter the hold of the ship. You soon realize after waking that you've lost all memory of who you are and what you’re doing here. You must have been involved in a large combat, but survived somehow, some way. The bloodied sea water sloshes at your feet and the eeriness of your situation sets in. Climbing up to the main deck you see the night lights of the coastal port city of Saltmarsh in the distance. The derelict ship you stand on lies wrecked against a large rock at the edge of the port city. This shipwreck has been here a long long time, but the recent fight has left the ship even more in ruins. Dead bodies litter the fore and aft of the ship as gulls pick away at the corpses all around you. The smell of death perfumes the salty sea air as you struggle with your own wounds. From the corner of your eye you see an apparition float across the deck of the ship, but when you turn to look there is nothing there. A sea breeze blows up and whispers in your ear, “avenge my death, seek justice for us.” A shiver goes down your spine, but you assume it is just the sea playing tricks on you. Above your head is a large banner in the ship’s rigging that waves in the breeze. The banner is colored red with white diamonds forming a circle in the middle. This banner is important; somehow you know it holds the key to your memory loss. Will you discover who you are? Will you travel the seas in search of your mysterious past? Will you unlock the secrets of Saltmarsh?
