Hey everyone, a quick heads up that, as mentioned on the D&D Beyond Dev Update stream yesterday, we will be trialling holding an “AMA-style” Question & Answer session on the forums.
The first session will be me, Faith Elisabeth Lilley, and it will work roughly as follows:
Monday 7th February. I will post the AMA thread on the forums, and you can go in and start asking questions. We’re posting this in advance, because this is a global community and we don’t want to exclude people from asking questions due to timezones. The post will be live for about 24 hours before I start answering.
Tuesday 8th February. I will be taking scheduled blocks of time throughout the day and evening to read the posts on the thread and answer questions.
I don't know if it started with reddit but AMA means "ask me anything". So the host of the thread in this case Stormknight explains who they are and basically takes all questions, sorta like "open lines" in talk shows.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
maybe make it an announcement on the front page? or at least a popup on the forums or something. I only just found this cuz I saw Plat on the "most recent post" and caught the "AMA" in my peripherals.

This is the announcement for the the questions thread. Once the questions thread itself goes up, it'll be surfaced for people to see.
