Savra nods as the plan starts to come together. "Where do you want me then?" She asks. "I could give distractions of some sort, aid in helping get our runner away to safety, or be in the background working on those rumors mentioned..."
Tug answers Savra I'd say at the very beginning, to help get the theft and the chase started right, then moving to the square to plant the right info into the crowd of witnesses. We'll want everyone to concentrate on the necklace being wedged under the statue, being convinced it's still there. If you're also doing a distraction it'd have to be very early so as to get into position in time. Something that would build up on its own after you initiate the day before maybe?

"There is a fact, well a skill, of my own, that I have kept back until now." Savra says with a glance around the chamber. She sighs. "I am going to change myself, so no one get crazy, since I am going to do so into our true enemy." With that said she changes form, taking on the very form of their adversary, and her voice to match his as well.
"I can be anyone." He says now in the very male voice of their enemy. "If having our nemisses order someone to do something is useful, then it can be done, and add to the distraction."
She then lets her form shift back into Savra's own. The female clothing looks much more in place on her than it had on him. "As this ability will ikely have use in our distractions, and Savra might not always be around, I thought it important to bring up now."
Wilfer smiles slightly and nods, “I can think of any amount of confusion we could cause by having our enemy giving contradictory orders to different groups, though we’ll need to do something about your clothes. As for Tug’s suggestion about my being involved with the wagon at the end, I’m assuming you mean during the statue swap later on, and that sounds like a good plan. But during the chase, I’d prefer to avoid both start and end if possible, lest people notice me and ask why I didn’t use my magic to stop him.”
"Savra your lucky, i got to use my magic hat to pull of changes like that. As for the wagon no need to worry about being at it. Just park it, hell we got the gold we can get more then one wagon, so for my changing wagon why don't we bust the wheel on it? Give it a reason to parked on the side. Maybe one of you could keep a eye on it, or pretend to be the owner, good enough reason to be in the square.
"The benifit of my way is that there is no illusion that can possibly be seen through." Savra says with a shrug. "My changes are real and not magical-in-nature."
"Which is awesome! I don't like relying on magic all the time. Like you said can be seen through as well as the magic can be detected. That why when I cause this distraction I am useing mundane powders to hide myself, also over doing the amounts will misdirect them to thinking it wasn't someone with skill. At least that's my hope." Sharvon grins at the last statement.
Nice Tug replies to Savra-Dron, a little slow because he's resisting the urge to ask for tricks, and the gears are clicking thinking of possibilities. Finally he asks Is there some way or signal so we can tell it's you when you're not you, without blowing your cover?
He's a bit worries about Sharvon ending up without help, gently prodding Wilfer I can understand you needing to preserve your hero schtick, and bein' a celebrity and all raisin' unwanted questions. But in the cart as Sharv's plan, you'd be beyond the end of the chase, and could be obscured without even a particular disguise. No one'd ask random dude in a cart why they did not intervene in a chase several blocks away. We can keep you out of the fray without short-handing the team, I'd hope...

"I am sure we can find something, a piece of cloth, a specific-colored belt, something that always is in play." Savra says with a shrug. "As long as we pay attention and don't give it away by such items, we should be fine."

Wilfer frowns, "I thought after he got to the square he was going to run into the river and head out that way? Instead of a cart in town where people might see, why not just have him follow it all the way outside the town and take our new entrance back into town through the tree?"
((Sharvon wanted to shadow-step from under the bridge to the covered wagon, throwing off the pursuit that was supposed to think he was floating down river or hiding under the bridge, So the wagon would be 60 feet in the opposite direction as expected))

((Yup that was the plan I had in mind for Sharvon))
(Ahah, so not at the square. Depending on current direction, it'd be easy enough for him to use a cart as part of his distraction of the guards as well before picking him up.)
I imagine there is atmospheric music during the plan and practice sessions - Tug is hearing Mas Que Nada like in Joe versus the Volcano
My distraction is near the start point Tug says It ought to be pretty simple - I don't want to draw extra guards to the sector, nor scare the mark away, just make the guards run the wrong way just before the pick. So I plan to just crash a rowboat through a storefront. Not a specific attack on Dron, so not one of his places, this one is a "look away" crash not a foreshadow setup.
Cache ideas for along the track - we need options to keep the rollers from catching Sharv, but not lose them so bad the show in the square has no audience. So - a bottle of oil if they're getting too close, and a bag of flour to rip and leave a trail if needed.

"Good plan Tug, I will approach the target, snag her necklace but then maybe crash into a stall or some people, give them time to catch up. Honestly no simple guard will beable to catch me, between my speed, shadow step, spider climbing, and water walking, I could ditch them with ease. Before you say it Tug i know I am not supose to ditch them but lead them on a merry chance. What I worry about is if they have a mage with them or something unexpecteded, or more likely a bystander who wants to be a hero. Those are what I need you all to look out for and stop."
"I think my best distraction should come at the start." Savra says with a smile. "How about having the man himself ordering his men to do something different than they are currently doing." She considers this for a moment. "We want them to chase the necklace to the statue, so best to wait until that is done. If the chase is not happening though, a good nudge in that direction could be useful at the start."
Wilfer looks over the map carefully, "This group of guards just south of the river here on the west could be distracted by a child being swept along in the current, or at least the image of one. Same with the group on the east side. The group in the north east could be distracted by a bonfire on the roof of a building. Perhaps if placed correctly, could draw both of the northern groups together. A suggestion that it was done by a drunken member of Dron's entourage might help the long game. I could handle the fire easily enough and could then head to the western group with a wagon for Sharvon's exit, distracting the guards at the same time one way or another. As for caches, with some time and funds, I might be able to create small vials full of magical darkness, not long enough to lose them, but just enough to delay any groups pursuing."
(The last pending DM's approval for using alchemist's supplies and darkness to create them.)
"For caches, I would like to place a few changes of clothes along the expected path." Savra says. "Might need a few quick changes to be someone else. I'll have a few options on me already, as that just is smart, but there might be need for something specific, and better to have too much than too little."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
That's a good point Tug answers Sharvon It'd be magic we'd have to worry about, fast as you are. Maybe David and Aravor should get where they might do something if that kinda stuff comes up, maybe one early on and one in the square
We know yer fast, gotta work on the dodge. Pick something off of Vansic then try and get past the rest of us. You get to the door 4 times in a row, we call it ready for prime time
Tug'll try to Grapple (in a friendly but ain't going to take it easy on you way): beat a 14 with an acrobatics or athletics check

Jet lag is a real beast. Let's get things rolling...
Ready or not, the crew begin watching Ms. Isabenne Jostlyn dancing at The Treasure Room, on the street, and coming and going from her well-appointed apartment. Dron is frequently at the Treasure Room and Ms. Jostlyn is frequently on his arm around town. Her apartment is obviously paid for by Don Dron and she flaunts her necklace and her association with Curtis Dron at every opportunity. Everything about her screams, "Hands off, ladies, he's mine!"
Eight days pass in this manner when the crew executes the plan. All the caches have been in place for days now. The distractions are the first order of business and Vansic has decided they need to happen between 11:15am and 11:45am in a staggered fashion. Ms. Jostlyn is getting ready to leave for work at the Treasure Room to chat with the other dancers for a while and get ready for her performances this evening. Curtis Dron is already in the club, having arrived to discuss some business with some of his underlings.
It is 10 past the 11th hour. Sharvon is lingering between Isabenne's apartment and the club near the river. Tug is also near the river upstream a short ways, preparing his row boat. Wilfer is meeting is meeting at a small square north of the river with a couple of shopkeepers where he expects the watch to walk through within the next 15 minutes. Aravor is in the East District walking along one of the main thoroughfares. Savra is west of the route a couple of blocks from Dron's house. It is a very nice neighborhood here, precisely where she tailed one of his lieutenants from the arena 9 days earlier. Rixton is quietly drinking tea at a cafe in a pleasant neighborhood in the Pearl Bridge district. Vansic and David are both in the square, keeping an eye on the crowds and the end of the chase route.
Along the route are three caches hidden five days in advance. The first is just after the first turn onto Cask Street. The second is along the boxed-in Pier Street. The third is just before the Square on Riverrun Avenue. Each cache contains a change of clothes, a bottle of oil, a bag of flour, a ball of 20' of twine, a gold, silver, and copper coin, and a potion of darkness that least for only 2 minutes instead of 10. It must be smashed to the ground (or other hard surface) in order to activate the spell.
Everyone knows the plan by heart. Cause 5 distractions to draw the city watch away from the chase route before 11:45. At 11:50-11:55, Sharvon picks the necklace and begins the chase. The clock ticks to 11:15 and the plan is set into motion...
Make any checks as you post or just make a generic d20 roll if you are not sure what check to make and I will take it from there. Just let me know if it is a plain d20 roll or a skill check with modifiers so I can keep everything straight! First up: Savra, Wilfer, Aravor, and Tug are drawing the Watch towards them. Sharvon is tailing Ms. Jostlyn. David is scouting the end of the chase route for any last minute problems.
