"Nice Wilfer. Thinking about it I think our big goal will be to lead Dron's guard away. He will obviously have them posted around the statue, he won't want any thief retaking the necklace." Sharvon chuckles. "You know like us! He most likely will be there himself even. What do you all think? Can anyone get him away from the crowd? And Savra how is your Dron impression? " Sharvon asks with a wink.
The engineers begin unbolting the statue an hour before supper time. Some of the bolts are rusted and difficult to manage, so it appears to be taking them some time on each bolt. Eventually, though, they get to the final bolt, a particularly sticky one they have put off to the end, now past supper time by half an hour. There is a wood-framed crane adjacent to the statue ready to be secured to it for lifting it from its pedestal. The light is beginning to dim but some of the engineers are setting up portable lights already. Another engineer is getting ready to climb up to secure the crane straps.
It is mildly busy at this time of night as pedestrians cross the square. Several of the Watch are about as well and Dron and Jostlyn have shown up to observe the statue being lifted to retrieve the necklace. This will probably happen in the next 5 or 10 minutes.

((clarification - is that David in the boat and Vansic in the wagon on the bridge? Which of them has the copy - and if it is on the boat is Tug supposed to move it onto the wagon as well? And which side of the statue is the wooden crane? Tug has to be within 30 feet so same or adjacent square))

Wilfer would be disguised as a young man, mildly prosperous, looking like a traveling merchant and try to move the wagon next to the statue with the fake statue covered in the back, hidden as well as possible non-magically, and to have Tug with him, supposedly driving the wagon. Does anyone have a basic disguise kit to obscure his features a little? If anyone questions his presence, "I thought the wagon would be a safe place to put the statue so it's out of the way and doesn't accidentally drop on anyone reaching under it. Anything to be of service to Messir Dron."
Savra is in her half-elf form, looking like a bard. She has a few bags of clothes stashed close by though, to help her change into whatever is needed if she needs to change her appearance.

David is the boat, which has the copy of the statue. Vansic is in an empty wagon across the bridge, ready to come at a moment's notice. The boat is also ready to move. I haven't heard from Paradox so I will bot David for now.

Things turn south quickly. Dron, talking with his young dancer as they watch the engineers work, catches sight of the transfer of the counterfeit statue being transferred from boat to wagon. The statue is covered but it is large ad transferred with so little deception as to make it stand out as unusual. This would be fine for any bystander or even the city watch. But Dron has always been a guarded man.
He looks around the square suspiciously, waving over someone from outside the square. Four burly fighters begin walking across the square. Dron nods to himself, then points directly at Vansic sitting on the cart.
Far apart, heck, Tug has a longbow. Those new red-x-spots are the thugs I take it? Tug is just barely more than 150 feet from the northernmost goon - so he moves directly towards them, drawing his bow and loosing 2 arrows when in range
Attack with Longbow 16 if hit damage is 5
and again 19 if hit damage is 10

Sharvon is about 300 feet north of the statue; Savra (GinVinJade etc) is 180 feet NE of it. Dron and Jocylyn are a further 40 feet SW of that. David, Vansic, and Wilfer are even further north than Sharv; Aravor is the only one on the other side, about 200 feet SE of Dron and Jocylyn

Sharvon will make a break for Dron, moving 45, then dashing 45, as a bonus action he will shadow step 60, or how ever far he can, it's evening so should be plenty of shadows.
Savra moves to a spot where she can catch a large number of the enemy in a cone spell. She then casts fear DC 16 Wis save. She will not cast it where it will hit any of her companions, and is uncaring if it hits non-combatants.

Two arrows thunk into the thug that Tug targeted but he doesn't fall.
Savra cannot get close enough to anyone, but runs as far as she can.
Two watchpeople see Tug fire off his arrows and bolt in his direction.
The thug struck by the arrows charges at Tug, then disappears for a moment, appearing 30 feet closer. 3 glowing missiles erupt from his palm at Tug for 10 force damage.
The thug closest to Aravor, a tabaxi, has seemingly run past him. He continues running towards towards Dron but spins, releasing two arrows from his shortbow in rapid succession at Aravor.
Shortbow Attack: 13 Damage: 6
Shortbow Attack: 21 Damage: 9
Rixton absolutely blitzes out of the alley he was in, seemingly faster than even Sharvon. He does not make it to Dron's thug but gets close enough to let loose a shot from his shortbow.

Tug will head up to that north corner of the square (trapezoid?) and wave the boat and cart over, so he can move the copy onto the cart

Sharvon, using his hat and cloak, appears to be a comon laborer. He will stay close to the statue, keeping a eye out for any of the Dons thugs.

Most people can move the width of one square and dash a second square. So we are starting out very far apart!

Summary:
Tug takes 7 damage
Aravor takes 5 damage
Rixton misses
New map with oversized icons and a gradient on Sharvon so he can spot himself a little easier.
Tug will use his reaction to nope that nonsense - Psionic power / protective field reduce damage by 8
so only...
...3 damage
