Sylivar frowns. A guardian. Well, he had expected something like that. He places a hand on Bruvir's shoulder to calm him. "Well, who's Dagult? And how does it belong to him?" he speaks, voice soothing and calm - Syl was quite well-versed in smooth-talking. Why not try it now? "An amount of gold which needs to be kept under this amount of security does nothing besides keep the nobles rich."
"Not necessarily. It means you are clever, brave, or possess the Stone. If you can prove to me you're one of his vassals, you may do with the gold as you please. If not, then please leave. I have cleaning to do. Thank you."
Pulling the others aside, Bruvir spat out in an annoyed manner, "Any ideas? Or should we just temporarily 'incapacitate' that dwarf over there? He looks strong but I think we can take him if we're quick about it..."
Sylivar shrugs. He was concerned - a sole guardian of such a vault? He shakes his head at Bruvir. This Dwarf likely wasn’t to be trifled with.
Instead, he steps forwards and politely bows; unsure if he’s speaking the truth, Syl puts his sweet-talking skills to use. “Very well. We are associates of Renaer Neverember - a noble and direct Vassal to the open lord. Through his wishes, we have found and are permitted to take the coin. Is that acceptable for you?”
(Guys, as much as i'd love to continue this, Feli is sick, Nope is nowhere to be found, so if you want to just kick the crap out of the dwarf and RP how you took thousands of pounds of gold, i'm totally ok with this. Unfortunately, I feel like this campaign really ground to a halt and i'd like to really wrap it up if that's ok with you guys.)

"Why, once the open Lord of Waterdeep. All of this? Is his, only him or his appointed vassals may take it."
"We made it down here didn't we. Doesn't that make us one of his vassals?" Bruvir replied while doing his best to hide his impatience

Kasha was looking at the gold with much anticipation.

"I'm afraid not, no. Either present evidence of said fact, or please leave."

(That's cool with me. Just curious, was there more to this final dungeon or was the dwarf the "final boss"?)
