Pepin will have spend some time casting mending to repair Z's clothes.
Z is grateful to Pepin for the assistance.
In the morning, as he is getting his things together, he realises that they have not checked for remains of any villagers. While he dearly hopes that all villagers managed to escape, he and Irraxan will have a quick look around. If they find any remains, they will give them a proper burial (and would appreciate if Brother Randall or someone could do a blessing)
(Sorry, I misunderstood your posts as meaning you were perhaps missing some hp or other resources. However you are right about suffering a near death experience from a RP perspective and even with Pepin's mending there are a couple of rips and tears in your clothing, so it will suffice to protect your modesty but will eventually have to be replaced.)
Irraxan and Pepin's drone are unable to find any evidence of bodies. Either they fled before the Goblin Horde or the goblins did something with them.

— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
Led by Pepin you make good time and arrive at the temple.
(not sure what was posted way back when but this is cannon going forward)
Your true destination is about (an hour/mile) north of the temple. It is a cave-like tunnel that leads deep into an earthen embankment. It's diameter is about a dozen feet across and generally round but rough in shape.

It appears as a 3 story complex from the outside but it is only a single floor inside with high arching ceilings depicting the night sky divided into 4 quadrants, each of those depicting the moon in one of it's 4 phases: full moon, gibbous moon, half moon, and crescent moon.
You know this to be a temple to Sehanine, an elvish goddess, perhaps the 2nd most famous of the elvish gods. To remember more a religion check is needed.
Vines have begun to climb up the outside but it is otherwise more or less intact, hinting at only recently having been abandoned.

Sehanine Moonbow is her full name. It is said she was among the first elvish gods, formed from a drop of blood spilled by Corellon, chief god of the elves. She is the god of knowledge for elves and her symbol is a crescent moon.
Some of what you remember is confusing as some writings list her among his daughters while others say she is one of his lovers. Each has validity which is why it can be confusing.
A less credible source claims the cycle of the moons represent each child she bears him but most believe this was attributed to her due to how closely a woman's monthly cycle matches that of the moon.

Your true destination is about (an hour/mile) north of the temple. It is a cave-like tunnel that leads deep into an earthen embankment. It's diameter is about a dozen feet across and generally round but rough in shape.
(What does the cave-tunnel look like? Is it an excavated tunnel, a natural cave, or maybe some sort of worm hole? Nature: 11
Also, is the tunnel going towards the temple or away from it? It wouldn't just be a coincidence, so perhaps this goes to some place underneath the current temple? Maybe a sanctum or older layer?)
It is so crudely dug no one would claim it was excavated, gouges and chunks taken out of the earth in a hap-hazard pattern pock mark the walls and ceiling, you could imagine the floor once looked the same but has since seen some use which has flattened it somewhat but it is still uneven in places.
The tunnel does lead back in the direction of the temple. From what you know of such things from being seasoned adventurers and hearing the tales told in taverns, bars, and inns you know that sometimes structures are built over the ruins of other structures for any number of reasons. So it's not unlikely that could be the case here.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pepin will do a quick search of the temple to see if he finds anything of note that would suggest why it was abandoned.

Pepin finds no clues left behind by whoever abandoned this temple. As a matter of fact he doesn't find anything but the structure remaining as whoever did abandon it took everything not nailed down with them... or perhaps someone who came along after cleaned it out, whichever is the case it is now just the 'bare bones' that remain.

Pepin finds that pretty fascinating, however, now is not the time to look further into it and he'll move with the others to the tunnel.

"I suggest we send Irraxan ahead. He can see in darkness, and make himself invisible. And if things go wrong or he is caught by something, I can disappear him into his little pocket dimension."
With this, he telepathically instructs Irraxan to go ahead
Yes, Skrud is present. Forgot to mention that he hid himself away until the chimera fight was over.
"Ohhh! A tunnel! Be careful! Nasty things live in tunnels! Skrud not go first!"
And the wily little goblin moves further back in the marching order.

(Maybe Goblins are more familiar with some monsters than we are. Can't hurt to ask)
Irraxan flies off into the darkness and winks out into invisibility when he reaches the limit of Randall's light radius. The cave just continues on straight ahead for now.
"When Skrud see something dangerous he let you know by screaming like this... AIEEE!"
Skrud let's out an ungodly loud and earsplitting scream to demonstrate and you all have no doubt that it was heard hundreds of yards away.
"Then Skrud run and hide! Skrud not die in stupid cave! Skrud going to be King one day! New friends promise Skrud! Skrud not know how going in stupid cave going to help make Skrud King but new friends are better than black tents so Skrud go in stupid cave."
