Gianna bobs her head enthusiastically. She is ready to back up the Tuna and whoever else!

Alrighty then. If no one else has any more preparing to do, let's begin the dive!

Cass casts aid on herself, Tuna, and Gianna (HP and HP Max go up 5, lasts 8 hours)  and asks for the octopus to lead the way, and slips into the water and starts to swim down.  Using her Cap of water Breathing and her gloves of swimming and climbing.  

“Birdie” will climb to the crow’s nest and watch the party slip below the surface. He will follow their progress downward until the murkiness of the water hides them from further observation. He plans on remaining in this elevated position until they return and will announce any irregularities he might perceive.

Robin stands at the rail, her eyes closed as she sees through her familiar's senses. She leads the ones who are diving towards the ship below.

As you plunge down into the murky lake, you begin to see a light. Following it, you eventually come across the warship, with its webbing of chains and spiked balls still surrounding it. The widest gap you see is about a foot at its widest point.

You can either make an acrobatics check to swim through, or try to figure out an alternative.

Tuna will try and swim quickly through and then try and aid any others.

At home in the water, Gianna glides through without a problem. Tuna has a bit more trouble, bumping lightly into the chains a few time, but nothing bad seems to happen. Cass and Robin?

“Birdie” is still in the crow’s nest. He was supposed to focus on the waters surrounding the ship, but to be honest, he frequently found himself looking to the sky and finding animal shapes in the clouds.

(Welcome back. I would love to continue this adventure.)

Argh, when last we left this notorious band o’ scallywags some were stayin on the ship and some others were swimming down to the bottom of a lake, where a crimson submarine (I mean mysterious magical sinking ship) awaits…

(I realized I never saw those last couple posts above…. I think notifications were broken on this for me-  Cass will try to squeeze through with help from the others…

With the whole diving crew past the outer defenses, you are free to find an entrance to the ship. Make any skill checks you might think would help in infiltration.

Cass swims to where the hatch was on the other boats of this type, and examines it to see if we can get it open.  She will help anyone with an ability check for this.
