Cackie’s deathly slumber continues, although he seems to lose less blood this turn; he might pull through! He dreams of pink elephants.
Lei-Tana's Fire Bolt arcs across the temple, lighting the room on its way to sink into the side of the large blob. The mote sits there for a moment and then melts slowly into the creature, releasing an offensively noxious smell.
Dazlyn and Norbus back out of the temple and throw their pickaxes at the large blob: Attack: 5 Damage: 2 and Attack: 21 Damage: 7
Thunderfist catches up to the (very slowly) moving ooze and launches his granite-hard head into what, on a person, would be its back: Attack: 14 Damage: 6
Elfa’s eldritch blast slams into the blob and blasts sprays of yellow mist from it (5pts of force damage). The arcane attack is too much for the embattled lump of slime, bruised and blasted from all directions, and it loses all integrity with an unearthly scream.
As the last blob collapses into a sticky puddle and seeps away through the flagstones, Dazlyn and Norbus yell in delight. “Thank you!” says Dazlyn, hugging his stocky friend. “If you wouldn’t mind just sweeping the temple for danger? Just to be sure? Here, take these in case you need them"

Cackie's eyes slowly peel open. He grips his pounding head, assuming he had just woken up with another hangover. There was a distinct possibility that the fight with the blobs didn't really happen, so he felt best to not mention it.
Feeling worse for wear, Thunderfist brushed himself down and took a moment to properly take in the surroundings and assess the situation.
Whilst the two elves didn't look like they had fared too badly in the fight, Cackie looked even worse than he did before, something Thunderfist didn't think was possible.
His belly rumbled loudly, all the thought of jelly and trifle had made him hungry... Now would be a good time for a quick snack break.

Cackie heads to the east side of the temple to climb on top of the altar. He flexes at Lightningtoe VanMorrison, hoping for a reaction. Whilst there, he figures he should check to see if there is anything hidden within.

"YESSSSSS, what a great battle everyone, we have so much more to give. Is everyone alright?". Elfa was pumped, the jelly's were a tough match but not tough enough to beat a High Elf. Elfa looked at Lei-Tana and decided it was time to search around and see what they could find.
"Gregolas, are you hungry?. We can't have that" Elfa gave Gregolas a small piece of bread she made with Diplomat at home from her bag. "here you go big fella"
There must be something here, Elfa thought to herself, Elfa knew loads about temples and was completely fascinated by their history.
The group take a short break to have a bite to eat and take stock of their situation. During the rest, Dazlyn and Norbus retreat back to the steps and await the all-clear from you.
In response to Cackie’s quesiton, Dazlyn yells back "Cultists of evil are paranoid types. Suggest you check walls, furniture and floors”
Once the break is over, you take a careful look around the temple to see what you can find. Tei-Lana finds that one of the pillars has a secret compartment, and inside is a stone coffer. It has a lid that looks like it will come off quite easily.
Elfa tries to help the search, poking around the temple with a curious air, but fails to find anything.
After another half hour, and with the stone coffer left to one side for now, Lei-Tana notices a strange pattern in the stonework of the north wall. Pressing both palms flat against it, she leans in slightly and a hidden door suddenly gives way, sliding into the stone to reveal a hidden doorway.
On the other side of the secret door is a 10ft corridor which splits into a T-junction. The left turning ends abruptly in a caved-in section, while the right turn leads 20ft to a closed door.
Cackie throws his arms back, leans forward and makes a dash for the door in the secret passage. He checks to see if the door is locked in any way, or if it can be opened easily.
Lei-Tana finds no sign of traps on the door and pushes it open, arriving in what appears to be a stone bedroom. Three stone beds stand against the east wall, covered in ancient mouldy sheets.
Cackie, Elfa and Thunderfist follow Lei-Tana into the bedroom and take a look around as well.
Thunderfist finds no sign of food, unless a rat scurrying through a small hole in the wall counts?
Once in the room, Elfa’s sharp elven eyes spot a flaw in the south wall. Pressing against in the same manner which allowed Lei-Tana to find the first secret door, Elfa slides a panel across and reveals another room.
Inside you find what appears to be an old vestry. An empty stone font juts out of the southwest wall. A stone wardrobe against the east wall holds the rotted remains of two suits of red leather armour, now ruined by age and worthless. Another door lies to the south; a real one, not secret or hidden.
Cackie inspects the tatty armour in the wardrobe, to see if he recognises any symbols or markings for more clues about this mysterious room.

He then proceeds to scope out the north west region of this secret room, allowing Elfa and Lei-Tana to explore South, they have proven themselves to be intelligent and perceptive.
Whilst feeling up the walls and floors (Perception check 7) Cackie shouts over the echoes of Wonderboy Whitesnake's hungry belly rumbling, "Got any eyes on those Dwarves?"

It dawned on Thunderfist that it would be unlikely he'd find any food in this temple and tried to ignore his rumbling stomach and focus on the task in hand.
Thunderfist was prone to being irritable when hungry; woe betide anyone who crossed him.
Cackie's question reminded him of his disliking of dwarves and turned round to look for them.

"look at this - a secret doorway!" Lei-Tana calls to the group...
She walks the corridor cautiously until she reaches the door at the other end, and checks for any traps before pushing it open...

Elfa followed carefully behind Cackie intrigued by the secret passage way. She was alert at all times.
Though Thunderfist was grateful for the bread from Elfa (even though he could've sworn he found a tuft of bear fur on it), he was still hungry.
Thunderfist stood up, stretched, and followed the group into the secret passageway, hoping there may be a more satiating source of food up ahead.
Perception check, mainly for food.

"This temple has many layers, much like an onion - hopefully it shan't make me cry"
She wonders over to the door, checks again for traps, and pushes it open....
