Hi! I'm Novel Royalty and I would love to make a play by post campaign inspired by Disney movies! This has been a passion project of mine for a long time and I really want to share it with a community of people who might play with me. Of course, it'll be like regular 5e D&D just heavily influenced or inspired by Disney movies and stories ( this included shows like OWl House, Gravity Falls, and certain Disney park attractions). If you are interested please put down your character stats, name, race, class, and a little bit about them! Then afterward please PM me the link to the full character sheet. Don't worry about characters being based on the movies because it's even more fun if they aren't! Have a great day, evening, or night!
As a long time Disney fan, I’m interested! Will send more info later, just reserving a spot for now.
Name: Nevaeh
Race: Scourge Aasimar
Class: Druid (Circle of Stars)
Ability scores: 7813111413
Nevaeh is an outgoing young aasimar woman with light blue skin and bright blue and purple hair. Her eyes are orbs of blue-yellow that lack irises - she is almost unsettlingly beautiful, like many of her kind. She is not from this land and is eager to wander and learn more about it and the people who live in it.
Oof, those are some rough rolls. If it's cool could I do point buy instead?
I'm an apostrophe I'm just a symbol to remind you that there's more to see I'm just a product of the system, a catastrophe And yet a masterpiece, and yet I'm half-diseased And when I am deceased At least I go down to the grave and die happily
Corrin grew up in a modest village, one of seven siblings. She left her home village in pursuit of knowledge and understandings of the mysteries of the world. She apprenticed with a wizard scribing copies of precious texts worn by time and continued use and fetching his tea. In her spare time, Corrin took to reading and studying the manuscripts. She became fascinated by the mysteries of magic users and spells. When the wizard wasn't looking, she would scribe simple spells into a ratty leather bound book that she recycled from his library. She secreted away her book and only brought it out when she was certain she was alone. The only person she told about her studies was her sister Ellys in her monthly letters home. Ellys often warned Corrin about the dangers of magic, and cautioned her against meddling in something she knew little about. One day, he wizard caught her making hand gestures and practicing spells. He agreed to teach her his ways, as long as she would bind herself to the tower as its servant. Blinded by her want and need for knowledge she agreed. Her life is now bound to the fate of the tower. Everything she does now is for the betterment of its library and protection of its sacred texts.
Pain & Darkness, that was all he could comprehend. The depth of the darkness wasn't what bothered it, it was how homely it felt. When the Light brought him out, told him that he was meant to serve a greater purpose, he felt.....happy? It was hard to explain the swell of emotions that filled him. But the purpose granted to him gave him hope and offered him a light to which he could serve dutifully. While his nature may be dark, he seeks to serve the light.
Aurora was a fairy at one of the big noble courts (choose a court in a different country than were the adventure will start). Unfortunately, she made a mistake at one point cursing one of the children of the court so she was imprisoned. Luckily, she could escape through the keyhole and flee the country. Since than she has been venturing through this new country helping people in need in hope to redeem herself, and maybe finding a way to remove the curse she accidentally placed.

Dart grew up in a small town. He's the youngest of eight siblings, and always was getting in trouble because he wasn't getting enough attention. His real name is Aelar, but everyone called him "Dart". At age fifteen, he ran away from home. He got enslaved by a beholder, but somehow managed to escape. He then found a place to stay in the home of a man named Erevan Naïlo. He became a con artist. While he was staying there, he met a female elf by the name of Bryn Starflower. He and Bryn fell in love, but two years later Bryn was killed to spite Dart. Dart became addicted to gambling, and is still a con artist. His backstory is still a work in progress.
Backstory: Prince George is the only child of King Ralph. George's mother, Queen Lira, died when he was very young. Prince George has had a noble and strict upbringing, and he takes his responsibility as heir to the throne very seriously. Despite this, George feels like Ralph doesn't understand him. It is in part due to their extreme age difference. George wishes they had a better relationship. The land over which the royal family rules has enjoyed two generations of peace. Recently, however, a witch visited the castle and cursed the king before disappearing into the night. King Ralph is now growing old and feeble more rapidly, and no one knows how much longer he will live. One fitful night, Prince George was lamenting his lack of a wife and wishing (upon a star) to marry before his father dies when his faerie godmother appeared! The tiny woman with wings declared that if Prince George embarked upon a quest to find his true love and married before his father died that the curse would be broken. She then specified that Prince George would know his true love because "the sun sets in her eyes." To help him on his quest, she cast a spell over him, which gives him some magical abilities. The next morning, he explain to his father, the King, that he had to go away for a while, and he immediately left the castle to begin his journey.
Tren is the child of a fallen assimar and her earth geneasi lover. His parents were both taken from him when he was quite young, though they managed to return him to his world just before the worst happened. He has grown up with knowledge of runes, and how to make use of them, and has a kinship with some of the more earthly elementals.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Backstory: Son of a human King and his elf bride, Prince Colember is a vain, almost preening, knight in shining (and well polished) Armor. He became an adventurer to prove his worth to his father, who was a powerful adventurer in his time.

Ability scores: 141416131712
Name: Tributary
Race: Water Genasi
Class (Subclass): Genie (Marid) Warlock, Pact of the Tome
Intended Alignment: Neutral Good
Backstory:
Tributary (born Maven Zanim Shezan) was raised on stories from his mother about what a wonderful man his father was. As his mother told it Sultan Zanim the Learned was a kind soul who loved telling tales, fiercely protective of her when he could be around, and had set them both up in a rather nice home. As Tributary had never met his father in person, his Genasi heritage and the magic he could wield were all he had to truly go on. As the young man was not born with natural physical prowess, agility, amazing intellect.....or any skills naturally with which help keep him alive in this dangerous world Zanim did leave behind a book which his mother gave him at the age of 16. Reading this odd tome brought a sense of comfort, a sense of purpose and most importantly a shred of the Marid's essence.
After years of studying the book which never seemed to run out of new things to read, Tributary found he had difficulty sleeping without consulting the book. In fact in recent years he could not sleep regardless how hard he tried, only writing of his experiences or reading the various tales within his tome brought him any form of relief from his fatigue. If his mother's tales were true, then perhaps finding a story that would please his father could bring back his ability to sleep. As a child he had hated being put to bed but a comfortable decent night's sleep was his one and only true desire at this point, and exploring the world and sharing these tales with the tome in hopes of even a respite.
I of course would be happy to workshop any part of this to tweak it to fit better.

Quinten Dust - Human v (skilled) - Fighter (rune knight) - charlatan
Quinten was born to a noble lineage of magical rune carvers. This power brought jealousy, and fear in equal measure upon them. So much so that even the king himself turned a blind eye when they were attacked in the night. Quinten was able to escape, but had to leave his noble name behind him. He began to make his way in the world as a traveling smith, locksmith, mason, and - for the right price- an experienced manufacturer of false identities... and if his skills were secretly supplemented by the rune crafting, who would know? Still, he longs for the day he can take vengeance on those who wronged him, and killed his family.
