Niscesi, the last week was less than pleasant. Having been ordered to the Brokenveil Marsh, you found not much to your liking in this crazy place, with its ever shifting configuration as the horizonback turtles change up their swarm. It took you several days to get used to the disjointed structure of the settlement, with the inhabitants of each turtle forming its own district, but hundreds of citizens setting up residence wherever they can once the turtles decide to rest for a few weeks. It took even longer to find a decent tavern, though decent was a stretch.
Thunk and Bounder, you've both entered the Shrieking Warg, a small tavern located at the top of one of the older horizonback turtles, making up what could be called the city center of Urzin. The tavern is crammed, and most of the tables and stools are made from rough-hewn logs, with candles and a few coal braziers in the corners providing the only illumination in here. The clientele is made up mostly of goblinkin, and the menu reflects that, with a particularly popular option being Swampbrew- a hot beverage made by distilling moss and swamp roots that has a bitterness too it that mixes well with the burning sensation you get when drinking the thing.
For now, the tavern is farily well populated, with a drow woman sitting in the corner by herself, an Orc and a halfling engaged in discussion with each other. A dwarf sits nearby, nursing an ale. Nalros, you saw the halfling and the orc enter the tavern, mid discussion. Curious as to what they were talking about, and amused by the unlikely pairing you shuffled a bit closer to overhear what they were saying. Beside you, there are four goblins playing Three- Dragon Ante nearby, and of course the duergar bartender with his grey skin and flowing white beard who serves.
Thunk and Bounder, you're mid- discussion, when all of a sudden you hear a loud yell: "Yeargh! Crunch is dirty cheeter! Die!" followed shortly by "Take back! Gasher no cheeter!" as two of the goblins leap at each other, with the other two quickly piling into the fight.

Thunk squints at Bounder as he listens. There is a slight pause but then Thunk says "Ok."
Thunk is on his feet surprisingly fast for one so large. Larger than most. In but a step, maybe two, Thunk is at the edge of the brouhaha and thrusts out a hand and grabs a goblin.
"You Gasher?" Thunk asks. The goblin doesn't answer but the others all nod. Thunk shrugs and swings the Gasher goblin at the one he guesses is the Crunch goblin, attempting to use Gasher like a club with which to beat Crunch. Thunk sometimes bad at understanding. Moretimes than most.

We're doing one small murder-y thing for a bigger, better reason. The ends justify the means.
Nalros quickly collects his ale from the table so that it doesn’t get knocked over and accidentally spilled. That would be quite tragic...
Moving closer to the four Goblins playing cards he looks at the table to see what might be available to be grabbed. “You’re quite right! I saw em pull a card out of his sleeve. Look!” Nalros will point to the goblin accused of cheating and then try and swipe any valuables sitting openly on the table...
'Not again' Niscesi thinks... She knows these situations way too well. They usually get her in trouble... but what if she wanted trouble? What could really be worse than this?
With a steady yet loud enough voice to be clearly heard through the tavern, without taking her eyes off her so called beverage, she says 'would any of you beings of minor intelligence mind being quiet?'
Goblin raised above his head for another swing, Thunk hears someone call out. Thunk pauses and turns in the direction of the speaker and looks them over.
“Can I still beat Crunch with Basher if I’m quiet?” Think asks, Basher still held above his head like a club.

One goblin held aloft by Thunk, the other bruised from the violent clashes with its brethren, they are now busy trying to fight Thunk instead. The other tow goblins meanwhile see Nalros approach their table and the remains of their earnings and decide to leap over the table and attack him instead. Niscesi, one of them bumps into you, causing you to spill your drink, all over your freshly cleaned shirt.
Everyone roll initiative please!

(Well I was debating whether or not to be lethal. But since they just tried to slash at my hand...)
Nalros right hand continues back towards his head, almost like he’s getting ready to throw a baseball. He mutters something in Marquesan and then hurls a green ball of acid at Glimmer (acid splash trying to get both goblins focused on me dc 13 dex save or 5 acid damage)
Glimmer has too much momentum carrying him forward, and you catch him with the splash. As the acid connects with his skin, a sizzling sound can be heared and he utters another shriek, this time one of pain!
The fourth of the goblins, undecided between Thunk and Nalros, decides to turn his attention towards the hulking orc, and he grabs a bottle and smashes it on the table before trying to slash at Thunk's thigh. The shards connect, but they leave a superficial cut that Thunk doesn't even seem to notice.

WIth one smooth motion, Niscesi gets up from her position, grabs the chair she was just sitting on, and hurls it at the feet of the goblin trying to fight Nalros. The goblin's feet get tangled in the chair legs, and he falls flat on his face. You all expect him to get back up, when a small pool of blood forms, as he fell on his own knife and is now bleeding to death.
Gasher meanwhile is trying desperately to get out of Thunk's iron grip, while Crunch gets the full blast of Bounder's Forstbite in his face and misses his attack against Thunk.
Thunk, you're up!
Roll Athletics vs 8 for the goblin. If Gasher breaks free, he slashes at Thunk. 16 vs 14 for 6 points of slashing damage.
