in the corner sitting near the window wearing hooded robes sits a rather strange person. You can see they are playing with something between their...paws? As they turn, you can see its face has a Feline looks.
I am known as Lefty, or Left Six Claws by my clan. if i were to pull my hood back you would take notice of my dark fur and orange eye's, however, standing up you would most likely be looking up to me.
Sorry, i can't explain more, but the itch to travel is starting to unnerve me and i must move.

I just want to tell everyone "happy gaming" and actually mean it. Whatever your game is, just have fun with it, it is after all, just a game.
At the table across from Lefty sits a rather small woman under the table lying silently at her feet is a rather large dog. Both the woman and the dog seem to be watching all those gathered with a bit of distrust as if she's not entirely convinced no one will harm her. She notices at last that those she'd been waiting for have arrived. Brown eyes scan those gathered flitting over each person as she unconsciously looks for some sort of weak spot on each her hand floating by the dagger at her waist.
"Pleasure to meet you Lefty. My name is Seyrah Arsain," she says at last. "I'm a Cleric in service of Apollo, and a ranger keeping watch over the smaller towns near here, the dog at my feet is my helper companion Kayus. You'll find he's quite well behaved so there's no need to worry about him misbehaving while we're out."
Fennchurch strode across the the tavern clutching three pints of foamy amber liquid. Upon reaching the desired table he set the cups down, one in front of the Tabaxi, one in front of the acolyte of Apollo, the last he set down in front of the large brown mutt sprawling out on the floor. He placed his hands at the edge of the table and leaned forward to partake in the conversation.
He nodded at the feline figure who had first introduced herself. He had never seen a Tabaxi in real life and appearance and mannerisms intrigued him. The cleric unnerved him a bit, he had pilfered a temple or two in past did not want incriminate himself if she belgoned to one of those organizations.
When he spoke his did so in a low tone so that it would not carry to any further than the table. "Fennchurch, thief extraordinaire at ypur service. Bodi and I heard there was work for a couple of footpads. Unfortunately Bodi didnt survive the journey from Westgate. A dire bear, charged our camp...and, well Bodi wasn't as fast as ol' Fennchurch. Suppose its one less way we have to split our spoils" he said with a grim laugh.
"Do you happen to have the letters? how are they delivered or were they just found someplace? and lastly, what is in it for us?" [OOC: I was just saying how cliche it was that we actually started ourselves in a tavern.]

[OOC: I might have missed something. Do we work for these guys in some fashion or are we hired adventures asked to go perform a task for them as in we answered an ad for help on the wall of the inn? ]
Fennchurch's grim smile faded as the young human spoke of letters and threats. His eyes focused on the guild artisan, makeing note of the cleanliness of of his clothes and hands. As Fennchurch took in the details of this new arrival, he moved his hand to the oversized dagger at his hip and rested his hand on its pommel.
Fennchurch was slow to trust, especially those who worked for the authorities. His eyes locked onto the young human and narrowed as he spoke. "Are you telling us lies little man? You come with empty hands and no evidence. One would be remiss to not question the validity of these claims. Could be a cleaver ruse to get Fennchurch's neck on the headsman's block."
[OOC: So did it say what our PAYMENT would be for this service? That was what my character was asking when i said "What is in it for us?" and was rudely told to listen carefully. i just want to know how to respond to it properly.]

I look up and with a smile pull the mug closer. I dip my claw into it and tentativilly taste it. I then begin to lick it up.
”thank you.”
[ooc: did we just start ourselves in a tavern instead of the DM doing it?]

Looking up to the two others. “The fourth of our party will not be joining us. He left word with the inn master that he had to leave in a hurry. “
“Any idea of what brought us here?”
