"It seems our paths are intertwined, for now. If it's the wish of Marthammor Duin I will travel with you." He ties the small coin purse to his belt and replies matter of factly to Mio "Never fear, my time has been paid for. I'll take naught from your coffers." He walks beside the wagon grumbling something about horses behinds.
"Umm, well that does sound serious, Landrae..." but she is already rushing away. "Good luck with your mysterious errands!"Seigfryk calls after Landrae as she vanishes from sight. He shrugs, and turns to address Vondus.
Seigfryk nods approvingly at his new dwarven companion, "Welcome aboard, Vondus! You are certainly a welcome addition, as there must be safety in numbers. Neverwinter is so much more dangerous than I remember..." A strange look, perhaps worry or self doubt, crosses Seigfryk's face.
He shakes it off, "Anyway, Onward! To the butcher shop!"
Seigfryk falls in step with the cart, walking alongside Marva as she drives the wagon.
As Marva drives he wagon through the streets, Seigfryk trots along beside it, his squire in tow. Mio sits atop the ever increasing pile of goods, and Vondus takes a moment to appreciate the city via the moving vehicle, rather than on his own feet. The three members recount the tales and reflect on how eventful a simple shopping trip has been, the faces that started out on the errands this morning already changed so much.
Mio spots something from her vantage point, further down he street two wagons block the street and one appears to have shed it's load. Barrels of fish have shed their contents and the growing crowd grow louder in their complaints or remain silent onlookers rather than any efforts being made to clear up the road block.
You slow the wagon a little way away from the scene thanks to Mio's early warnings.
Would you like to sit and wait, approach the wagons, or try to find a way around using the side streets?
Mio runs her fingers through her brown hair and says off-handedly, "If I was a paranoid person, I'd think something is conspiring against us to make even the simplest part of our job difficult." She sighs and says, "I wonder what the hold up is about now."
Vondus slides from his vantage point atop the wagon. Still grumbling about the smell of horses and the apparent love that humans have of the beasts he stops near the front wheel and speaks to Mio. "Do you want me to slip ahead and see whats causing this hold up?" His gruff tone alerts the more astute listener that the dwarf has little patience for standing idley by when there's places to be.
Mio says, "Sure. In fact, I'll make sure I can have a clear shot of you so that if things go bad I can offer covering fire." If Vondus does go ahead to see what the hold up is, Mio will stay within 80ft of him and keep him in her eyesight.
Seigfryk observes Mio and Vondus form their plan. As Vondus heads to investigate the issue, Seigfryk motions to Squire Symon to remain with the cart, and wordlessly falls in behind his new dwarven companion. He positions himself to the right of Vondus and back several feet, roughly halfway between the cart and its obstruction, taking care to leave Mio's line-of-sight open.
Marva pulls the wagon to a halt at Mio’s warning and studies the scene. As Vondus and Siegfryk go to investigate, she looks around the nearby roadways and tries to remember if there is an alternate route they could take. Having grown up in Neverwinter, she feels like she should be able to figure out a way.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vondus heads into the crowd, heading in the direction of the overturned produce but not in a direct line. Years of stalking prey has taught him to not aim directly for your destination as that may draw attention to your route. He notices Seigfryk fall in behind him. Acceptable he thinks to himself.
He skirts the crowd and finds himself standing at the edge of the spilt fish barrels. Barging forward he shouts at the crowd of onlookers "Well, don't just stand there! These fish'll spoil." He begins loading fish back into the barrels, all the while scanning the throng of people for potential threats.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
For the life of her, Marva cannot think of a good way to get to the butcher except along the road ahead. So one way or another, the mess with the fish will have to be cleared. She is glad to see Vondus shouting directions to try to get folks to take action, but she doesn’t want to leave the cart herself for fear of someone taking their hard-won supplies. Instead, she looks around the whole scene, ahead and behind them, just in case this whole kerfuffle is a distraction for something more menacing.

You believe you know a way around using the side streets, though it might be another area of the city that you are thinking of... Too many streets look similar away from the notable markets and more prominent establishments.
Vondus's action takes the arguing drivers a little by surprise as they are about to protest; his words though, suggesting that the massed people actually do something about the incident rather than gawking and gossip-mongering, act as the most effective dispersal tool the group has ever seen. Within minutes the onlookers have returned to their own comings and goings, mutters of 'ain't got time to clear up other people's mess' and 'not going to smell like fish all day' fade away leaving just the spilled fish and two notably less argumentative drivers.
"Those fish will need cleaning now, dirt and bits of hay all over 'em. I'll lose money for the time it will take cleaning them up, and have to sell them cheap as damaged goods. I ain't moving till I getsome compensation! If this idiot had been watching where he was going rather than the swaying hips of a passing strumpet he wouldn't have veered into me. The wainwright ain't gonna fix that wheel for nothing either!" The first of the men protests. He is grey haired and has the build of a man that has worked every day of his many years, and the smell of one that has spent everyone of those days working with fish.
At his claims, Vondus can clearly see that he is right about the fish and the wheel, though he is exaggerating the matter a little. The boy receiving the rebuke is almost a polar opposite, looking in his teens, his face sporting a light blonde fuzz over his cheeks rather than the thicker stubble most boys have started to sprout. He appear bashful and nervous, stammering out apologies, "I... I'm... I'm sorry sir. I wasn't... Wasn't starting at her hips. My horse, just kicked his shoe. Turned to look for it. Was an accident mister. Me da' will kill me. You, you can help me sir knight?" The plea for help is directed to Siegfryk who is now standing in the middle of the uncrowded road, resplendent in his armor. It doesn't take much insight to tell the boy is a little dim, and that the older man's claims have scared the lad.
Relaxing as the crowd disperses, Seigfryk addresses the boy. "Accidents happen to us all, but the man is not wrong. His goods are defiled and his wagon damaged; damages someone needs must pay for. Would you forsake this forlorn fishmonger? You must do all you can to right the debts incurred here."
Noting the look of building anxiety on the young man's face, Seigfryk sighs, picks up a fish and saunter's over. He puts a hand on the boy's shoulder, "Starting by cleaning up this mess." He hands over the fish, and turns back toward the cart, shouting "Symon! Doff your armor and come help!" Seigfryk considers helping himself, but such a task seems below his noble station (secondarily, it is very hard to get fish smell out of chain mail).
Mio wouldn't mind helping to clean up but she doesn't quite want to let the cart out of her sights fully. She at least doesn't feel like something's going to jump out and attack anytime soon but still. The last time she let her guard down on a mission things went sideways real quick. She doesn't quite want a repeat performance of that. She stays where she is, guarding both the cart and Vondus and Seigfryk with her bow. Speaking of which, she looks down at the short bow and mutter, "I should really get a longbow sometime."
The young man looks taken aback at Siegfryk's words, "Knights is supposed to do good by everyone. This bad for me and fishyman, I can't pay for all his fish so we both lose." The owner of the fish cart looks dismayed, but hearing Siegfryk come down on his side of the discussion seems to have softened his demeanour somewhat. "Tell you what lad, you help me tidy these fish up now, then we'll both go see your old man. We'll see about you working back the debt, when you've finished work for your Dad, you come and spend a few hours working for me each day. Your labour against the value of my goods and the repair of my wagon. Can't be any fairer than that, can I Sir Knight?"
Seigfryk beams at the deal developing before him. Gesturing to both the fishmonger and young man, he says "Indeed, merchant! You hear, boy? Some sweat off your brow, some fish in a barrel, and you will have honorably repaid your debts. Truly a fine arrangement." He will then linger at the scene until the way is clear, overseeing Symon as he works.
Seeing that no threats are jumping out of the woodwork to attack them, Mio raises her voice so the others can hear her, "Are we ready to move on now? With how the day has been going, I'd really like to get this part of the job over with and head back to the inn before something really bad happens."

Mio takes her position on top of the Cart so she can be ready to snipe things that might try to attack. Again she keeps her eye out for danger.
