Approximately half of Stitch is visible from behind another statue.
Jax does not see anyone else on the street.
The two angry Karrns glare at Robin before giving the tiny dragon a slightly perplexed, very annoyed, look. "Stop twisting our words," the man with red hair snaps (sorry, mixed them up last time--woman has brown hair, man has red). "Maybe you're new in the area, but around here we know that when dark energy comes knocking, the Seekers either solve it or caused it."
Irritation flits over the Seeker's face, quickly mastered back into their prior placid expression. They incline their head to Robin. "I do not intend to depart unless the situation becomes overwhelmingly dangerous to me," they say calmly, taking a few steps closer to the group as speaking draws the attention (and the glares) of the other two Karrns.
'Ooooo, I don't see why anyone should be in danger of any sort right now.' Drego's voice is calm and measured but laced with just the hint of malice. 'Seems like talking this out makes a lot more sense, doesn't it?' His arms are folded comfortably and confidently across his chest, body language signalling that he's planted his feet and unlikely to give any ground.
“hmmmm, would you mind?” Péiste Mór asks after hovering over to the Seeker and hovering about their shoulder. Assuming no negative reaction they land upon it, to show where they stand. So to speak.
“yes, hmmmm… do you two really expect this boy to cure a drought with a snap of his fingers due to your bullying?” the dragon asks. “interesting, hmmmmm… we have been called to the town of Teryk by the Warlord Geron Karlach to investigate the matter but you two are wiser than they, hmm? you two can bully a boy to do what Warlord Karlach summons us for?””
Péiste Mór looks over to their companions and does a dragon’s version of a shrug. “hmmmm, yes. we are not needed here after all… seems these two have usurped the warlord and our services are no longer desired, hmmmm?”

Drego nods in agreement as the dragon walks through the logic of the situation. 'Yea, seems they've got it all figured out. Beat up the kid and this all goes away. Seems they think Warlord Karlach wasted his time and energy sending help here.
Case steps forward and addresses Drego and PM, “I believe you are both incorrect. It is more likely that these two individuals are emotionally distressed due to the drought and lashing out and the nearest scape goat. If it would have been this simple we would have not been hired by the empire to investigate. I believe we should send them home. However, it may make sense to question this seeker further. His alignment to negative energy may give us some hints about either the summoned undead or the drought.”

What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
The Seeker does not object to PM landing on their shoulders, though they do quietly correct the group with a, "I am not a boy." They hide a faint smile at PM's consternation over Case's words, offering him a shrug. "Perhaps the reinforcement will assist in making the point."
Clearly growing frustrated at being steadily made to look like idiots, the two angry Karrns make irritated noises. "Whatever," the woman growls, turning to stomp away down the street. The man follows suit after her.
Once they're gone, the Seeker turns to you all and inclines their head with a slight smile. "I thank you for your assistance. I am Levis, a junior priest of the Blood of Vol here in town. If you are the adventurers called here by Warlord Karlach, perhaps I can show you the way to his home while we speak?"
Drego shakes his head as Case starts talking. They were gonna have to do something about this walking bucket of bolts - although that mace of his did do a nice job smashing up the Skellies. Maybe they could convince him to keep quiet in mixed company?
Glancing back over his shoulder he saw Stitchs' rear end sticking out from behind the statue. Chuckling to himself he walked back over and scooped the little goblin back up, slinging him up onto his back as the party fell in to follow the seeker.

Stitch looks at Drego absolutely flabbergasted that Drego saw him. “I am stitch.” He says a bit dejectedly at having been spotted so easily. On the walk mainly for his own amusement uses dancing lights to conjure a light shaped version of himself dancing just ahead of the group as they walk.
Robin smiles as her companions handle the situation perfectly. She settles back as they take control and soon have the two bullies leaving in a huff. Turning to the Seeker she nods to them. "Please show us to the Warlord's home." She agrees. "On the way you can fill us in on what has been happening around here. It is safe to say the Warlord did not give us much information in our summons." She pauses as she walks a few steps. "Also, why would someone be summoning skeletons to keep people from reaching this place? We encountered four summoned skeletons just outside of town." She offers in explanation.
Levis cocks their head, a frown flitting across their face at the mention of skeletons as they begin walking down the wide street. "The summary of what has been occurring is that a blight has been making its way through our fields, causing tensions to mount as our future food supply continues to dwindle. The blight is similar to the sicknesses that swept across Karrnathi fields at the beginning of the Last War, a sign of a swelling of Mabaran energy. Many of the townspeople have chosen to blame the Seekers, as often happens when trouble of the Mabaran variety appears. Things have grown steadily more dangerous for us over the last few weeks. As for skeletons on the outskirts of town..." Their frown deepens. "That is concerning. They may be another symptom of the cause of the blight, as skeletons can spontaneously animate in places with great Mabaran energy, or they may be a part of the cause, as large numbers of Mabaran undead can cause plants to wilt. I am afraid that Mabaran theory is not my purview though, our elder is the one who has studied such things. My focus is on guiding Seekers to their Divinity Within."
Jax belatedly points at the departing pair of Karrns, a bit awkwardly, and says, "they did not seem nice."And then he returns a bit more to himself when the discussion finishes and PM lands back on his shoulder. The talking got to be too much for the barbarian most times, and while he tried to follow things, he usually got lost.
In the past, he'd just wander off, trying to escape it, but since he joined up with PM, he always relied on their social skill and translation.
"I am Jax,"he says to the Seeker as they walk. "Can we kill the blight? Or whatever makes the blight?"
'Well of course I saw you, your butt was hanging out...'
Stitch looks back at his rear to make sure it is still in fact clothed. After confirming that it is clothed he turns back to Drego and gives him a confused look while wrinkling his nose.
He listens absently to what the quidditch player is saying. But hardly any of it makes sense to stitch. He is only 4 after all.
“and what does cause the Maraban energy to gather and swell, has it been discovered?” Péiste Mór Lazily inquires with half open eyes as they grow comfortable once more. “you say many of their undead could cause it, or it could cause the undead… there is no definitive first cause?”
The dragon listens to the Seeker reply to their questions and any other conversation with the others. When discussions seem concluded Péiste Mór thanks them for their information. “sounds also as if we should speak to your elder, yes? could you arrange for such? after we’ve talked to the warlord, of course…”

"I would like to speak with your elder when it is convenient for them." Robin requests as the Seeker explains things. "As for the skeletons, I sensed they were not spontaneous undead, but summoned purposefully." She glances around them, keeping an eye out as they walk. "Someone purposefully brought those skeletons here, and, the best I can guess, had them there to keep people from reaching this place."
