Im looking for 2-3 people to play by post. I'd DM and I'll trust you to be honest with rolls. For DnDbeyond beta test purposes I'm going to stick with the monsters and such from here, unless I find something is missing. (I hope that makes sense). As for your characters, I'm going to say stick to PHB or the Basic Rules that were released free from WOTC. If there is a spell or item from a different source you want we can talk, but I'm trying to use the best of this beta.
So first 2-3 people who have their character information, race, class, stat blocks and weapons and spells, everything you find on a character sheet.
to make it easier to follow if your character is talking use " " inner dialogue/ feelings use ( ) and actions just have normal text. When attacking or rolling describe what it is and looks like with what was rolled in [ ].
I think that's it... if you have any questions feel free to ask. Good luck and look forward to playing with you.

I would like to play. I have been running Strom King's Thunder for months and could use a little player time...even if it's on a thread. I work Monday-Friday 845Am-500PM (EST) and am online the whole time. I would really like to play a Dragonborn Warlock...but can I playtest the mystic with you? I really want to check it out and if it doesn't work I will change, no problem. (You're the Dm, so what you say goes...lol)
Point buy from 1st level?

Hi, I'd like to be in the game. Here's a classically trained and classically snobby fighter named Narius for your consideration. Narius ultimately has a good heart and believes it is his duty to care for the common folk, but this duty comes because he is of course a notch or two above them. I'm happy to write up a more detailed background pending more information about the campaign/setting, or not.
Narius NG Human Fighter 1 (Noble)

Longsword +5 (1d8+3) Light Crossbow +2 (1d8)

Background and Characteristics Noble (Positions of Privilege). Narius feels that no one could doubt by looking at his regal bearing that he is a cut above the unwashed masses. Narius feels that it is his duty to protect and care for the people beneath him. Narius will face any challenge to win the approval of his family. Narius (not so) secretly believes that everyone is beneath him.
I like your format of your character sheet a lot better than mine...it probably didn't take you as long either.

Haha thanks! It was driving me crazy trying to figure out how to go to a new line without a double space, but whatever, I'm over it now, we'll have to make do.
I see that you have three people already interested. I'm going to put up info for a character as well for consideration if the first person does not get back to you.
STR 10 DEX 13 CON 10 INT 15 WIS 12 CHA15(Saving Throws: Wis/Cha )
Skills: Arcana 4, History 4, Investigation 4, Nature 4
Features and Traits Can breathe a 30ft line of lightning. (2d6 lightning Dex save 10 for half). Resist lightning. Frequently know where to find information containng lore. Telepathy within 30ft of any creature or character that knows a language.
Proficiencies and Languages Light armor, simple weapons. Common, Draconic, Elven and Orc.
Equipment Bottle of black ink, Quill, Small knife, Letter, Set of common clothes, Belt pouch, Arcane focus (wand), Scholar's pack (backpack, book of lore, bottle of ink, ink pen, 10 sheets of parchment, a little bag of sand and another small knife.)
Background and Characteristics Sage. (Learned scholar and truth seeker) Karsnak comes from a long line of scholars, so it was a shame to him, his family and his name that he was ousted at the University that he taught at when it was discovered that he had a copy of Draconic Rites and Dreams. A rare ancient document that cemented his kind as the leaders of this world who were displaced because of the evils in their past. Now, he travels the world seeking knowledge and keeping this tome he has safe from everyone who may be trying to steal it (literally everyone is), looking for knowledge and maybe a good mystery. He believes that all things are possible and no one should say otherwise. Karsnak is easily distracted in his books of study or even when speaking with strangers about their lands or some history of the past.
There, much easier to look over and understand. And I am glad you figured it out because it annoyed me as well!

-Trait: I love a Good Insult even one directed at me
-Ideal: I like seeing smiles on people's faces when I perform. That’s all that matters.
-Bond: I would do anything for the other members of my old troupe.
-Flaw: I once satirized a noble who still wants my head. It was a mistake that I will likely repeat
Bio - Issac's mother was a knight and his father was a lord, or was it the other way aound? Well it never mattered after the orcs invaded his city. His parents were killed and a young Issac was left in the same position as everyone else. Survive as a slave or die like a dog. Lucky for Issac he was good at one thing, fighting. His life was the fighting pits. He made a name for himself facing much larger oponents and promptly beating them down. That was his life until another pit fighter started a slave rebellion. During the chaos Issac and a few other Pit Fighters slinked awar from the city that was there prison. They split not long after that, leaving Issac to wander town to town again surviving through fighting.

You wake up after hearing the opening of a heavy gate, creaking off in the distance. It's dark and difficult to see for those without dark vision. There is a weight on your wrist and feet preventing you from moving much. To your right you see the small flicker of light slowly growing larger until you see a stout man holding a torch emerge.
Man: "wake up you lot. It's a full 'Ouse today. Hate to see the people upset" you can see the man pulling a lever and the weight on your hands and feet lighten, and your able to move.
For those with night vision you can see along with the man with a torch there is a total of 6 of you in the room. You don't have any clothes, just rags.
