Wen is down in the flaming library, so whatever she can save there. If there is a built in easy to extinguish the fire she will look for it. But if it looks hopeless she'll head back out
(The unnatural patterns make me think fire elemental, but I don't think when has experienced one before)
(I mean, unless there's water or something like sand or blankets, I don't think Weneon can do anything, but she's not going to stop trying until it looks dire)

When Sir Angus demands for the assistance of someone who can Create or Destroy Water, Marlyth finds her lack of preparation quite deplorable. Although she doesn't seem plagued by the blazing fire that has been attempting to consume rows of books, she is perplexed at it's intensity as well as it's capability to harm her companions.
The tiefling woman will attempt to climb down using the rope. If she's successful in the task, she will appreciate the quick-witted decision of Calner. Finally, she will assist him to extinguish the fire by casting Druidcraft on the third bookshelf. The magical effect takes the form of a tiny Naiad in order to snuff out the fire of a small place that can be compared to the campfire of 5 feet cube. When she does so, she will attempt to remember any kind of magical lore or tradition that can trigger fire.
[OOC: Sorry for my absence the past couple of days. was down in San Diego for a Soccer Tournament that ended up eating up all of Sunday afternoon/evening and then all of Monday with an 8 hour drive Monday afternoon/evening. I am just now catching up with all my PbP games after work and a few appointments. Back to my normalish posting schedule.]
Vrah surveys the hectic pace of every0one as they cross the floor gap and the fire. Then he closes his eyes and concentrates on th emagic flowing inside of him, his eyes flare red as he opens then looking for any source of magic within his sight.
Magic Awareness
As an action, you can open your awareness to the presence of concentrated magic. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any spell or magic item within 60 ft, of you that isn’t behind total cover. When you sense a spell, you learn which school of magic it belongs to.
Vrah is trying to determine the location of the source of the magical fire to see if it is coming from someone or some form of trap.
Athletics: 17
Depending on what his ability shows, he will leap over the gap and try and find a way to stop the magic from happening or he will just move to the bookshleves and try and tear move the whole bookcases that are on fire and toss them all into one corner. finally he will pull his bedroll out of his backpack and try and smother the flames to put them out, trying to save as many books as he can.
(Wile_E_Coyote, did post #140 have any success? Need to know before possibly proceeding with other actions.)

Sadly, Tabaqui does not have any magical means to fight fires. He will climb down, and attempt to investigate what might be causing the blazes to spring up, trying to locate a source or cause. He will actively search for any hidden or invisible creatures. He will assist with efforts to stifle the blazes with bedrolls.

(OOC: Firefighting Force Assembled!!!)
Calner will attempt to smother fires with Mold Earth while creating a barrier between burned and unburned books.
Safeguard will use theTelekinetic Feat to assist in creating a barrier between burned and unburned books while also creating smaller pockets of fires to assist Marlyth
Marlyth will use Druidcraft to put out the smaller pockets of fires.
Angus, Vrah, Tabaqui, and Weneon are on Search and Rescue/Destroy for valuable objects or the source of the fire
(OOC: We will be a force to be reckoned with!!!... that doesn't use water xP)

< I did. It was the last post on that page and I didn't go back. Sorry.>
The heaps of dirt so extinguish some flames, but the fire is spreading fast, like someone racing around the room with a lit torch, but you see no one there.
The Naiad is surprisingly successful in its efforts. Areas it snuffs out are not attacked again. Sadly whatever magic is at work setting the blaze, she cannot ascertain.

Vrah, armed with a medallion of protection sees quite a bit. 3 new rooms, in fact.
In the south chamber:
Various hooks and pegs suggest this large room once housed tapestries and other finery. The floor is etched with geometric shapes, but the stones of the floor look sunken and loose. Deep cracks in the floor have broken whole stones apart. On the southern wall hang three evenly spaced golden discs, shaped like serving plates and studded with red gems. Beneath them stands a stout stele marked with a bright blue glyph.
The lab chamber
Stray stones and dirt have been scattered across the floor by seismic activity or some other serious dam- age. Heavy-duty wooden tables and empty wooden bookcases still stand here, but the stones beneath them look shaken, cracked, and uneven. The air smells like raw clay. Two unfinished steles already bare the blue Sigil.
Common catacomb
The passage here is rough stone, a gravel floor, and glimpses of white cloth—and yellowed bone. It’s a cat- acomb, without much fanfare or adornment. A human skull stares at you from a nearby shelf.
All the steles are laced with conjugation magic, while the blue sigils they bear are of the abjuration school. The one that hit the wolves is no longer magical.
Also, in the common catacombs lays unconscious, barely breathing, a man in red robes, his brow beaded with sweat that drips across his hairless pate.
Vrah finishes scanning the room, "Someone target these sigils with a dispel magic, that might stop the fire!" He yells out pointing to the two remaining sigils with magic in them. "Also it seems we have a Red Wizard passed out maybe, over there in the catacombs. I will go and make sure he is no longer a threat." Grinning wickedly, "I will try, maybe, to keep him alive for those of you who might wan to question him."
Vrah will then make his way over to the downed wizard and make sure he stays out, raising his greatsword above his head and bringing it down upon the wizards head, at the last moment reigning in his attack and twisting the sword so the flat of the blade connects with the wizards head, making sure the creature stays knocked out.
Marlyth seems bewildered when Vrah the Bugbear has been yelling at the rescue team, then she replies:
"I don't see any Sigil here, where did you see these things? If I manage to climb up, I might need to examine these enchanted Sigils that you mentioned earlier."
The tiefling woman casts Thaumaturgy in order to cause the flames to flicker and dim when the tiny Naiad from the previous spell effect explodes into a dust of magical blue flames to reduce the intensity of the fire.
Finally, she'll suggest the party to leave the burning place and climb up using the ropes.
"We should try to dislodge them or tamper with them in some way but from a distance. Maybe once the magical traps have discharged it would be safer to approach the areas they were meant to guard."
Calner will not go near any that appear to still be active, even though he has one of the safety medallions.

Bolstering Magic
You can touch one creature (which can be yourself) and confer one of the following benefits of your choice to that creature:
- For 10 minutes, the creature can roll a d3 whenever making an attack roll or an ability check and add the number rolled to the d20 roll.

You can try and disarm the stele with a Dex (sleight of hand) check. Thieves tools applicable. It's a trap, after all.
