Backstory: Lilah "Lil" Snowtree is an aasimar cleric. Born to human parents, Lil was raised to believe that all other races, especially tieflings, were evil. And then, at age 14 she did the unthinkable: Fell in love with a tiefling. Her parents disowned her and told her she'd never become an adventurer. Lil didn't listen to them. Lil ran off and went on several quests with the tiefling, Nameia Music. At the age of 16, Nameia died. 17-year-old Lil vowed to never go on a quest again, until now. Who knows what Lil's reasons are? Maybe it's a tribute to her lost love, maybe she's proving her worth. Whatever the reason, Lil is adventuring again.
Could I be player? Argrithe the bronze Dragonborn sorcerer.
Backstory: Argrithe was a prince of a mighty Dragonborn/Kolbold kingdom. He was born with the innate magical prowess of all kings and queens before him. However, one day his kingdom was torn to pieces by red dragons. He barely escaped with his life and three kolbold servants: Kol the treasurer, Bob the cook, and Zap the mute blacksmith. Once he escaped, he swore he would rebuild his kingdom. He also despises fire and will never use it, on that note could I have a firebolt variant that deals lightning damage?
Disclaimer: Underfan8 is not to be held responsible for any of the following events happening as a result of talking to Underfan8, touching Underfan8, or even just seeing Underfan8: The rise of Tiamat, resurrection of vecna, pissed of genies, a complete and udder power change in the blood war, or a fate worse than a fate worse than total annihilation. Exist with Underfan8 at you own risk.

I’d like to join as a player! I’m thinking either a warforged monk or gnome wizard. (Expanded backstories & Character sheets to come in the next day or so)

Character Name: Borig
Warforged Monk
Background: Far Traveler
Warforged from a time of the past, Borig wanders the world, seemingly aimlessly, yet driven by purpose. He hardly recalls his creator, only remembering snippets of their words "Protect, Vanquish, Enlighten". Confused by what this might mean, Borig fights for those who he deems worthy and leaves only when he's certain the group or place is "better off". Not one for manners, but not one for open disprespect, Borig is childlike in aspects, ignorant to more civilized ways of living, but his intentions are always for the improvement of those around him, even if it means he harms himself. He finds comfort in silence, companionship in all creatures small and furry, but also has an affinity for the elderly who might be in need. Borig arrived in Baldur's Gate looking for the next place to call a temporary home, and his next mission to "Protect, Vanquish, Enlighten".

Corxif Horcusporcus
Forest Gnome Wizard
Background: Cloistered Scholar
Corxif, a former academic converted to adventurer after he was expelled from his institution for deliberate disregard for the bylaws of the college. He was a professor for a time and would teach his students embolden his students to discover creative solutions. His nontraditional ways, and knack for being mischievous left him to be an outlier in a much more strict academic setting. From "forgetting" to return library books to the occasional illusionary prank on his superiors, Corxif truly is a quirky academic with a passion for breaking convention in the name of discovery. What better way to discover new and awe inspiring things than to get straight into a daring new adventure!
backstory: Hatched on the Island of Chult in the middle of a undead surge attack. Dod was born with no pigmentation, his pure white shell and skin was considered a sign the Gods would intervene in the battle against the undead hoard. None of the native Gods of Chula appeared, but another divine figure who called himself Marduk took pity on the people and smote the undead. He called on a number of Tortle and human peasants and consecrated them as Clerics of Marduk. He gave them Instructions to build a monestary on one of the coastal Islands. They did as Instructed and brought the albino Tortle with them. They Instructed him from a young age, expecting he would become a cleric like them. After learning the art of reading, he spent his free time pouring over stories of Valor and might. Of knights of purity and honor, defending the down trodden and oppressed. At first he trained in secret. So as Not to disappoint his monestary family. Eventually he was caught and he begged to leave the island to train formally to be the first knight of the order of Marduk. The monks thought it strange. How would a lumbering tortle be able to do what a knight would need to do? How would he learn the sword, the Lance? After many weeks of fervent fasting and prayer, Marduk himself appeared to Abbott. He Instructed him to grant Dod his desire and send him to live and train with a noble foster near Waterdeep, on the sword coast. The very next day Dod was place other boat and sent to his apprenticeship
It is pretty cool. But I don't have the money. And I don't want to get in trouble for pirating. I appreciate their offer, but those obstacles aren't going to just go away.

At this point, we are way past full for players. Unless you're going to DM, please don't post here.
They don't have Descent into Avernus.
