Flynt takes a bonus action to decide his move. Something about this situation doesn't seem quite right He uses his insight to try and discern if the creature is actually attacking or just defending itself. 9
If his intuition tells him nothing or that the creature is truly a threat he will attack. Other wise he'll tell the others to disengage and back off.
Flynt's insight seems to tell him that the creature is being aggressive towards the group. One of the two shots hit the New Creature, finally killing it.
(Gere and Freke therefore do not attack with no target. I'm assuming they stay put.)
Another "Eelhead" appears coming through the door near Flynt. (Eelhead 2)
Through the door near Elyria you see another even larger "Eelhead" coming down the stair towards you. (Eelhead M)

(If allowed Freke would have moved on from Eelhead M after his attack, even squeezing by the prone aberration if possible, to allow Gere to attack it, using the rolled attack. Gere would then move away as well. Not sure if they are subjected to AoO when Eelhead M is prone.)
Flynt racks off three shots at eel head 2 before moving to the far side of the.room.

Flynt watches as his bolt causes the creature to seize up in an obvious death spasm. Flynt pulls Betsy back towards his chest as he spins around to face the final abomination. Pushing her back out towards this new target he skillfully loads and fires his next two bolts at the threat. He retreats backwards towards the doorway, stepping over the carcass as he goes. He stops just outside the doorway.
(I think there is enough room and they have enough movement, for both dire wolves to move in to Attack and retreat back to where they were. They cannot go through an enemy space - prone doesn't change that. Each that moves away is still subject to AoO as prone does not change that either. It would be at disadvantage though.)
(Also, Flynt is still up for the remainder of his turn in Round 3. He actually goes before Gere and Freke.)

Gere also strikes Eelhead M then retreats back (as did Freke). The attack leaves, leaving the creature appearing moderately wounded.
Eelhead M attempts to strike at Gere as he retreats: (Bite Attack: 12 Damage: 7 pierce + 12 poison - DC 12 CON Save or poisoned if hit; Gere CON Save if needed: 15)
Eelhead M then regains its feet and stares at Flynt (DC 14 WIS Save or be charmed) causing a familiar feeling to a few moments ago. Afterward the creature ducks to the west and out of sight.
Eelhead 3 then appears from around the base of the staircase and moves to M11. Like the other, this creature stares towards Aurelius (DC 14 WIS Save or be charmed)
(Aurelius is then up, depending on the results of the WIS Saves)

(Flynt could adjust his other 2 attacks. Gere does not have a target for his turn.)
Freke moves to attack Eelhead M, blocking the hallway in that direction. His attack hits. (STR Save: 5)
Eelhead M is knocked prone. (Note though that happens after Flynt and Gere's actions.)
