Mordekai looks towards the forge. There is certainly the smith, right there, banging on the forge. If she wasn't hammering so loud, she'd likely had heard your arrival. There are no Gith either of the two other ways.
If he'd like to try and "sneak" past the woman to get a look further on and around the corner, please roll Stealth..
Mal quietly moves down the passageway until she can see the female gith and brings up her crossbow. She is about to fire then hesitates, Wonder if the rhythmic pounding of her hammer will alert anyone, then she shrugs and fires.
Mal moves up silently behind the Gith working at the table. The hammer swings up, then down, then up then down.....then two bolts slam into the back of the woman. The flops forward onto the metal....dropping the hammer on the table. Then she slides backwards and collapses on the ground with a thud. The group glances down the long hallway towards the mess hall but the Gith there don't seem to notice.
The group goes and pokes their head through the armory, and see a door on the far side. The big steel door is closed, and no obvious sounds come from beyond.
Past the smith where the dead Gith now lays, the hallway splits. A natural passage heads to the left, and then splits left and right, while a worked stone passage, ten feet wide, heads straight up. Down the hallway, you see three large doors on the left side of the hallway, and a passage heading left near the end of the hallway.

Moving over to the body, Mal will make sure she is dead, checking it for any useful information and then lift the body up on her shoulder and look around for a place to hide the body.
Mal hefts the body up easily. There are piles of supplies all around, a couple covered in tarps. It takes Mal only a moment to hide the body. The blood splattered across the table and floor might take longer to clean up though. (do you spend 10 minutes, or use magic in some way to clean it up or just leave it?)
Zendrak points towards the dining hall....but...upwards, and says, "I sense the Phylactery that way. I believe we need stairs, though there may be another set somewhere else in this place than through the dining hall."

Mal will briefly look around for any bucket of water and if she finds one, will dump it over the blood hoping to wash it away a bit, or at least dilute it enough. Good as can be in the situation we are in.
She will then silently creep down the hall and listen at the doors and then peek down the other corridor.
Mal slips away from the group like a ghost. Down the hallway she gets to the three doors. The first door she listens at, and hears nothing, it's quiet. The second door is likewise quiet...but then Mal hears a slight scuff from behind it and a rough cough, then it's quiet again. The third door is silent. Glancing down the hallway she sees it goes directly right and into the large dining hall they can see from the other direction. From here she can see a hallway on the far side of the dining hall that heads to the kitchen they saw last time.
A quick, quiet check and all three of these doors appear to be locked, though there is no lock mechanism in the doors to pick.

Kari will stay a ways behind Mal, but seeing g hertry and rinse away theblood she will do q quick search for a broom and try to use it to sweep the bloody water either under benches and such or down any drain she can find, only spending a minute or less doing that.
Mal douses the area with a bucket of filthy water used for cooling metal, then moves off. Kari grabs a broom from nearby and gives everything a swirl. The sign of blood seems pretty well pushed away. Who knows, maybe the remnants could be mistaken for rust rings? There's no drain but pushing it around seems to do a pretty good job. This place isn't exactly pristine to begin with.

Mal whispers back, "Not good, nothing seems to be behind two of those door, but the middle one I heard a cough. The doors are locked so possible prisoner cells of some kind or just personal bedrooms. The passageway just loops back to the dining hall which is a no go for us, unless we really want to risk our luck. So we probably want to see what is down that other passageway off the forge smith area. Let's move back to the others and fill them in."
Mal will wait for Kari to move back to the others and then fill them in. Then wait for a group decision before moving out.
Mordekai sees the attempts made to clean the blood off the floor, and the resulting puddle of filthy water, and casts prestidigitation...a few times...to hopefully make the place look a little cleaner, although not spotless.
"While I'm happy to keep exploring and doing more recon, it seems like we're destined to pass through that dining room. Zendrak, can you do anything to help us understand and speak languages? Even to overhear any conversation might be helpful."
"Ok, ok, this might work. The dragon was the boss, right? So we were called in from somewhere else as reinforcements when the younger dragon was killed, yeah? And if they question the direction we are going we just say that orders are orders. Sound good? I have a little experience in my town guard, but I might get the words wrong. You know, the way that people from a certain area talk that isn't an accent, it's the way they use the words."
Kari is willing to be the spokesperson if nobody else wants to do it.
Zendrak gives Kari a slap on the back....imbuing her with tongues. "Lead the way orc gith."
Kari leads the troupe of Gith / PCs forward. As they near the main dining hall they see the same smooth stone floors with rough rock walls and ceilings extending high overhead. Six 10-foot-long tables, each set with eight chairs, stand in neat rows. Six githyanki warriors (three females and three males) are eating together at a table, talking in low tones.
As the group reaches the dining hall one of them looks up, speaking in Gith. Only Kari understands.
"Attention! Who do you report to and what are you doing here?"
