As a lover of clerics, I am very much down. However, I have played a certain module with Redbrands in Phandelin - it that okay? I won't metagame, promise! 😁
I would also be interested in joining, but played through the module once (we happened to breeze past a lot of the side content). I can easily play dumb if that’s a concern!
Shadh is newly arrived in Phandalin following constellations from the Astral Sea; it's not their place to know why they've been drawn to this small town, but Shadh simply follow the path laid bare by the stars. (It's an easy enough hook to drop into basically any campaign)
Hi there. I have not played in this adventure and have been looking for a new campaign to join. I am interested in playing a different non-cleric healer. I think I will put together a Divine Soul Sorcerer and post it here. Thanks!
Hello! If you're still looking for players, I would be happy to join as I haven't played this module yet. I'm thinking of a Satyr Glamour bard with a possible rogue multiclass down the line if allowed. My discord is: Dazedconfuzing#6064
Elbic Amberhold, second of his father's sons, was expected to follow the family tradition and join the clergy. He did his best, but dour, serious Dumathoin never heard his calls. Which was probably for the best, for Elbic had always felt a longing to be away from the hold and out into the world. Where his fellows desired to explore and uncover the treasures hidden in the far depths of the earth, Elbic dreamed of seeing broad plains and towering forests, of encountering people of exotic and varied locales. It surprised no one when he slipped away in the night, heading out on the unknown road. On his third night after leaving, alone, and wrestling with the shame he felt he bowed his head in desperate prayer. Everything changed when he felt the comforting presence of Marthammor Duin.
Since then Elbic has travelled about the Sword Coast, allowing his wanderlust to guide him. Most people find his easy smile and a openly friendly demeanor, unusual traits in his people, initially off-putting, but Elbic's honest desire to help where he can typically wins them over. He's found that usually folks repay his generosity in kind, which has allowed him enough to provide for his needs. Recently, his feet have taken him to the small mining community of Phandelin. There's a comforting industry to the town that reminds him of home, but the land around is yet wild and untamed. With only a few coins left, he has faith that someone in this town will be in need of his aid, and in helping them he will finds the means to continue on his travels.
Mr Silva - human v (healer feat) - rogue (thief) - sage
Mr Silva is a student who grew up in the halls of a dragonborn monastic library. He was left on their doorstep by a woman too poor to take care of him properly. He holds no I’ll will to her, or whoever might be his father, instead feeling quite privileged to have been given so much despite his humble origins.
Dragonborn are not as traditionally open about their love, but he felt the love of these scholars all the same. From them, he learned history, art, medicine and an understanding of Magic’s principles, if not gifted any talents for it himself.
He has a bizarre love for the histories of adventurers. Those innocuous seeming people who changed the course of history, if only for one small village. His love of this has brought him to Phandalin, not far from his home. It is here that he hopes he can add his own name to be listed amongst his heroes.
And he’s brought skills worth having… his skill with medicine notwithstanding, his best talents are for moving quietly and quickly, with his surgeon’s precision.
(I just made sure he had less gear than his average gold rolled would buy, and stuck to very basic weapons/armor. Sling, dagger, leather. I thought it made up for starting with a healer’s kit.)
Gentle Woodish roams the forest communing with nature and healing sick animals. Gentle Woodish is slow to anger, but does not hesitate to protect his habitat or innocent creatures from ne'er-do-wells.
Thardus Foremight - Character Sheet Dwarf Cleric (Knowledge Domain)
Thardus said the last goodbye to his wife. As age gripped her, she urged to go and live his dreams; the kids were all grown up and settled back up north, and he could sell their bookshop for decent equipment and see the wonders of the world he relished to read about. But he could not sell their book shop. A void in his heart only seemed bearable when the body was numb with drink. Being spared of the worse of the bills and debts from the Rockseekers, who helped him back onto his feet and detangle him from the debt-riddled shop. Looking to at least begin to payback what he owed them, he heads to the town of Phandelin to see where he can be of service and never forgetting his wife's words...
Misha's father Michael, was a great warrior with strange magics whom always fought for the common good. Some say he fought to redeem his soul, others said he was an angel. When Misha was young his father disappeared, leaving only his fathers rapier as his inheritance he received on his 20th birthday.
That night his father came to him in a dream told him he was sorry that he couldn't be there in life and the blade contained the soul of an angel and it shall be a boon to him and he'll watch over him. After some adventuring near Waterdeep he came to the attention of the lords alliance and they employed him and sent him on a few missions
The Lords’ Alliance sent Misha to Phandelin to get in touch with Sildar and investigate the disappearance of travelers near the area
scenario:
Sildar sends him to the manor to find out how the adventurers are doing
Misha was captured and is held by the Redbrands in their hideout
I looking for a couple of people to join into an ongoing campaign set in Faerûn. Unfortunately, a couple of people have had to drop out.
At the moment the player characters are investigating the Redbrand Hideout in Phandaln.
If you are interested in joining create a level 3 character using point buy.
We already have an active wizard, blood hunter, and barbarian, so there's a strong preference for healers.
You can multiclass, unearthed arcana is allowed, but not homebrew. Tasha's rules are also allowed.

I was thinking about a human variant paladin: valuable as healer as well as tank
