Backstory: (it's a work in progress.) Dart grew up in a small town. He's the youngest of eight siblings, and always was getting in trouble because he wasn't getting enough attention. His real name is Aelar, but everyone called him "Dart". At age fifteen, he ran away from home. He got enslaved by a beholder, but somehow managed to escape. He then found a place to stay in the home of a man named Erevan Naïlo. He became a con artist. While he was staying there, he met a female elf by the name of Bryn Starflower. He and Bryn fell in love, but two years later Bryn was killed to spite Dart. Dart became addicted to gambling, and is still a con artist
Name: Comus Race: Satyr (Male) Class: Divine Soul Sorcerer Background: Inheritor Alignment: Chaotic Good Backstory: Comus was a satyr like any other ... until he became an adult. During a raucous party he began to shine light from his eyes and mouth. Confused by this he spoke to his mother who revealed to him a secret held by their family. At some point in the past, the goddess Bast had personally touched their family, and since then every several generations a child manifests her divine spirit. They then inherit a (to be discussed with DM), though no one knows what power, if any, it manifests. With this new knowledge Comus saw his path: to party hard enough that it would get the attention of his ancestor. Backstory : Already, while he was still in the egg, Carmin's parents were captured by drows. Later, a wizard (perhaps Mordenkainen?) retrieved his egg and stored it in the material component compartment for spells. The egg survived and hatched in the tower of the wizard in question. Thus, Carmin spent much of his childhood in the tower, surviving by eating the wizard's spell materials (you'll note that he became sick several times as a result). He also got to watch the wizard at work, eventually learning how to cast cantrips. However, the day he used his first spell (burning hands), he caught the wizard's eye and was kicked out. From then on, he was left to his own devices on the streets, surviving on the spells he had learned. One day he managed to get a spell book and then went on an adventure.
Personnality : Carmin is not affected by the fact that he is an orphan: he believes that he is a homunculus a little more intelligent and free than the others. For this reason, he panics as soon as he meets a wizard, believing that the latter would put him under his control. Carmin is constantly looking for magical power and explores dungeons to acquire it, as well as for the adrenaline. Also, he likes to humiliate the "bad guys" by defeating them with a greatsword (And why not coupled with a Tenser's Transformation?).
(Carmin wants to learn some of Mordenkainen's knowledge, but must fight his fear of other wizards)
Sylgolor Dawndream remembers that when he was a little Firbolg, he would walk around the forest that his parents were the caretakers of. It used to take days to go from one end to the other. His parents used to teach him survival skills since a young age. They would also teach him how to live off the land, and most importantly, how to be one with he land. As time passed and he grew older, he noticed that the time to traverse their forest became shorter and shorter. Also, that his parents expressions became more grave as well. When he asked them what troubled their mind, he would always get the same answer. "Do not worry about us, little one, we will be fine..." Eventually he realized that the forest that he called home, was actually getting smaller, and it wasn't really him getting bigger. He remembered that when he was young, he would hardly see any stranger in their forest, but as time went by, he would see more and more humans.
One day, with a very sad expression, Sylgolor's parents announced that they would be leaving their home, and moving into another forest, very far way. The young adult Firbolg was greatly sadden by the news, but he told his parents that even though he loved them very much, he would stay. When his parents were long gone, he found out the reason for their departure, their home was being taken over by a human village that grew to envelope his forest.
The human settlement of Sylgolor, grew from a few huts couple of decades ago, to become a very large city. Somehow, it grew around his home forest, and eventually it became, what humans called, a "park" in the center of the city. He even saw "statues" of his parents at the entrance of it. He found it all very strange, but he figured that's what humans do. So he named himself after the city, and decided to protect it, by becoming a Ranger. A few centuries passed, and he decided that it was time for him to see what else is out there for him to explore. Before leaving the town though, he opened a small parchment given to him by his parents, and read it one more time.

Backstory: Elsys grew up in a large town that she pretends not to remember even though some of her best and worst memories happened there. She is the oldest of three children and when she wasn't spending time reading in the library or keeping her younger sister and brother out of trouble, she would sneak out of town and explore the forest just outside the walls of the town.
One day on such an 'adventure' she bumped into a young man that she'd seen around town a few times before. She questioned him about why he was wandering around the forest by himself and he explained that he was searching for something that his father had dropped while he had been out hunting. This peaked her curiosity and she offered to help him search for the missing item even though there was a small part of her that felt as though he may have been lying about his reason for being there. After about an hour of searching they finally found what they had been looking for but it was up in the nest of a bird. While she kept watch to make sure the bird didn't come back he climbed up the tree and retrieved his father's ring, although while climbing back down he nearly fell.
A couple years later Elsys and the young man were starting to get closer much to the displeasure of her parents, while the young man's parents were a little optimistic about a union between the two which could possibly end the rivalry between the two families once and for all. However before the opportunity could come around her father went missing and her mother blamed him for her husband's disappearance. In the hopes of proving her mother wrong Elsys made a deal with her, if she could find her father and bring him back alive then she would be allowed to marry the son but if she couldn't find him or if she found him but he was dead then he would be executed for the murder of her father. After the deal was made she left the town determined to prove that he was innocent and to find her father.
Backstory: Sulthra grew up on the streets of a city. There she pawned her way through small street performances and fast hands. One day a talented bard saw her performance and took her in. Together they wandered the world playing music and adventuring. Her mentor taught Sulthra how to not only enthrall people with her music, but how to connect with spirits and with inanimate objects and bring them to her aid. As they explored, they began to uncover a strange series of connections that lead them to a lich. Thinking they could stop him, the two attempted to fight the lich. Sulthra's mentor was slain and she was forced into the lich's service. Now she does his bidding on this plane while watched over by an imp that the lich had also bound to his service.
Build: The build is based around using summon spirit spells and her creation ability or using vampiric touch to heal during combat and is focused on necrotic damage and control spells

Name: Darjin Rasqull
Race: Gem Dragonborn
Class: Paladin/Oath of Vengeance
BackStory: Darjin rose thru the ranks a bit slower than his peers. For years he watched those around him get promoted. His anger towards this often lead to brash actions, occasionally to his detriment. One of these such instances led Darjin to be separated from the rest of his company for many days. Upon his return he found the entire troop laid to waste by an unknown force.
His rage and sadness were focused when he received a vision. Upon a nearby hill there stood a man unlike any other, at least 9 ft tall and red of hair and beard. He bade Darjin to join him on that hill and upon doing so he could see below the slaughter of his friends and fellow soldiers. Swearing allegiance and fealty to this giant of a man he was granted divine powers and the knowledge of who had done this.
Finding the clan of goblinoids responsible Darjin tore thru their ranks till he met their leader in single combat and slew the Hobgoblin warlord in front of his men causing them to scatter. With his vengeance sated for the moment he took to the country side, traveling, righting wrongs, and avenging those that could not all in Kords name.

I have questions, as I don't know much about the Greyhawk universe:
Is there a "Far Realm"? Like, with Mind Flayers and stuff?
What is the "knowledge capital" of Oerth, as Candlekeep is the "knowledge capital" of Faerun?
My favourites creations :
Half-Cloaker, Cloaker Lord, Potion of the Cloaker
I am looking for advice to upgrade my campaign.
There are troglodytes in my living room and cloakers in my basement.
You won’t really need to know much about the world when we get into the adventure
Ok...

if you do not want to move forward with that or don't want firearms in your setting then I will move forward with a different build instead.
