A new kind of fire burns in Fargen's eyes as he speaks, "Moradin spoke to me in my morning prayers. He said I'm not yet ready to accept the Soul of the Forge. First, I must tame my own flame. I must take a path away from him and fuel a rage I have left smoldering... Moradin will not answer my call when I burn, but do not fear I am still your ally."
Fargen is interested in finding a [Moradin, Gond, Ilmater] temple in Waterdeep to barter the Wyrm's scale for half plate. "I would like to find a worthy recipient of the Wyrm's armor, as it restrains what I must unleash."
"W-w-well, uh... Supposedly things get a fairly bad in the Summer around the, uh, manholes. But, uh.. otherwise i-it wasn't too bad last I was here." Nobody answer Kissa before finding himself a bit startled by Fargen's claim. "U-uh... Oof, uhm... I'm not sure about finding someone worthy necessarily. B-b-but the Trades Ward, uh.. or so I believe it was called -- uh, would b-be the best place for finding things like armor or even directions in the city. C'mon, I, er, we shouldn't be too far from the, uhm, gate that leads right into it." At that, Nobody eagerly took point in leading the way to the closest gate.
(OOC: Or so he would, unless the reply to Fargen's Sending comes with something more urgent.)

Fargen responds, "Let me check in with our contact if we had new instructions...."
Fargen once again casts Sending and delivers the message to Leosin Erlanthar"Cavarn stopped at Undercliff and cultists are entering Waterdeep. What are new orders?"
After the spell completes, Fargen uses his pearl of power to recover the 3rd level spell slot
Leosin replies "Try to follow them, see where they go. While at the city, maybe find out if any half dragons have entered Waterdeep"
If you head too Waterdeep, you reach the gates, there are guards interviewing people, coming into the city.
Fargen relays the orders of Leosin Erlanthar- "Try to follow them, see where they go. While at the city, maybe find out if any half dragons have entered Waterdeep"
"It seems our reconnaissance mission continues. Surely our connection with the Leosin and the Order of the Gauntlet will carry weight with the guards. I'm tempted to report in at their headquarters in Waterdeep and see what trade they could offer for the Wyrm's armor. Nobody and Kissa, you may have better luck following the cultists without me. At least until I find quieter armor. I can grant you both the grace of a cat to follow unseen. Or you can spend time seeking information of half dragons and cult activity and I'll smooth your conversations with eagle's splendor. Let's pick a spot to meet after an hour, that's how long the spell will last."
While the two decide on how they'll spend their time and what boon they prefer (Dex or Cha), Fargen asks for Moradin's aid for the day (+5 max hp). "Can never been too careful..."
Kissa considered, "" I'm probably better off sneaking as I know little of your customs and social cues here."
" Though I already have a cats grace....", she teased.
She seated herself and began humming a bass tuneless rythmn as she kept time with her carved clap-sticks, after a few moments she rose with a big grin.
" The Great Shaper, the Serpent Who Makes The World has blessed me today.....lets go."
Tale of the Dragon. The target spews fire from the mouth in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking fire damage equal to four rolls of your Bardic Inspiration die on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Fargen chuckles, "Aye, I suppose you already have the grace of a cat." The hardened dwarf considers some of the more deadly predators of the mountains. Right before reaching the gate Fargen decides. "How's about a behir'sstealth?" Fargen reaches out and touches Nobody and then Kissa granting them the boon.
"Good luck following them. Meet me at the headquarters of the Order of the Gauntlet in one hour."
"S-sorry, what? Oh, uh-uhm, yes! Er, yes, of course Fargen." Nobody said after snapping to attention and far out of reach of rogue thoughts libraries. "N-not entirely sure how we'd go about asking about a half-dragon, rare as they are, but if you think you'd have the sway with the guards th-there Fargen, might not hurt to ask our soon to be would be interviwers." He said with a bit of a smile to his voice. "Speaking of which, best we step it up a bit 'fore someone cuts in f-front of us, eh?"

When Kissa, follows the cultist, she finds that they set up camp north of the city and small groups enter by The northern gate, Fargen finds a shop to sell his armor, all who enter Waterdeep are given the set rules of the city.
Each person is asked to register as a magic user and type, if they are one, and each person is charged two copper, to enter for the first time. (fee for map and rules )
Nobody smiles weakly at Kissa. "With there being so many v-varied means and mediums and so on of m-magic out there, the 'request' is pretty, umm, all encompassing." He explains. "And though technically it's all voluntarily done, if you say get, umm, it's usually more trouble than its worth to NOT register if say an incident happens that m-might force your hand a bit. Or, well, the your ancestral spirits, uhm, proverbial hands." Yanda proceeds to waggle his fingers from Nobody's shoulder. "And let me tell you now that the fines here can get pretty steep pretty quick, and might end up the least of your worries." Nobody sighs. "I probably have to re-register myself, or at least check in."
Fargen registers himself as a cleric of Moradin. When he enters the shop, he says "This is no ordinary splint mail. It is made from the scales of a gem dragon. You'll find it takes a mighty blow to damage the wearer."
Fargen inquires about two sets of armor- a suit of half plate and leather.
(To Stormbringer: When asked to register if magic users, was that something that could be done at the gate? Or would they have to head to some place like the 'Watchful Order of Magists' guild location? If its the latter case, I'll adjust the below with the presumption after that brief discussion that the registration process is handled while there)
(To Damian_May: Sorry for the delayed response. I read the post days ago, but for some reason my brain was not registering a 'now it's my turn to respond')
"M-me? Uh, sure! Y-yes, uhm, let's see-" Nobody turns away to scan the streets. "Uhh, yes! That should be the r-right way to the Watch Order's Headquarters. Th-they are, uh, sort of a like a a-a-academy of magical persuasion, as well as, uhh, handle other things for the city. Y-you might even find others whose, uhm..." He trails off there bowing his head and tapping his fingertips together. "W-w-well it doesn't matter! So, uh, yes! This way." The tiefling spins on his heel doing a near about face and take point on following half-remembered directions to the guild as promised.
Although if such a trip wasn't actually necessary to get registered, then he'd suggest to Kissa that they'd follow up on finding the group of cultist that entered the city.
