Hi there, I would love to join if you are still recruiting. I've dmed a few adventures, and played in one, and would love to join a pbp game. I have a number of characters I can play as, and can play with any class that the group needs.

I will protect those I hate. Even ... even if the one I hate most ... is ... myself.
A might be late, but If you're ok, I'd like to join. I'm rather new to dnd - well, technically speaking. I got interested in dnd a few months ago, but I've never played a game, but I think now is the time to try! I've ran over this website a few times, watched handbooker helper fervently, and I've watched a bit of some sessions on youtube. Asides from the newbie stuff, I've been roleplaying for a few years now, that I'm no stranger to, and I really wanna flex my creative muscles! If I interest you, I can give you my character sheet too.
Fateshne was filled with a soothing sense of renewal as she walked the road from Neverwinder to Phandellin with her companions.
She didn't regret for a minute leaving the Feywild to study magic in the northern city. Though she loved them dearly, the Eladrin never had any perspective on their own emotions. Always flitting about between mania and depression with very little self awareness. That was not for her. She craved more stability.
Granted the last year at the Academy had been a grind. With the raven curse hovering over the campus, all classes had to be held by correspondence. She basically had to figure out everything herself. And she still had to pay full price!
Fateshne's complexion subtly changed from the somber tones of autumn to the hot colors of summer as she stewed over it.
No matter, that was in the past. This trip down into the rugged wilds was exactly the break she needed after the frustrations of the school year. Her hair relaxed and the fiery tone faded from her cheeks.
She looked at her companions about her. These were exactly the sort of wild characters to make this field trip fun! She caressed the smooth wood of her longbow and felt comforted. She had learned enough spellcraft to not really need weapons for protection. But the well made bow reminded her of home, and she liked that.
Noting the straight, level stretch of road ahead now, she reached out to the shoulder of her friend for stability, noting the subtle resistance the magic shield she had conjured around herself presented as her hand came up to their cloak.
Trusting her friend for support, she closed her eyes and shifted her focus to see through the eyes of Kenny, her little owl familiar flying overhead. Her stomach turned slightly with the shift in perspective. But, as always, the view was worth it. Enjoying the clarity of vision only available to birds of prey, Fateshne rode Kenny passively as he scanned all the terrain around them from above, ever vigilant.
"Kenny, turn back south again, and fly higher!"
Kenny obeying his master's command, Fateshne was treated with a welcome site. Tidy stone homes and buildings arranged around a grassy common.
Returning to her own senses, Fateshne opened her eyes and smiled at her companion. "Phandellin. It's right around the corner. We're here!"
Thanks for your post. I have been watching a lot of DnD content recently and I am dying as much as you are to play, that I would also commit to a 1 on 1 Game if need be. In DnD I am rather inexperienced, I have played a lot of other Pen and Papers and have a general idea of how things go (Also thanks to the vids).
I'm gonna be honest here, because what good would it do, if I wasn't: I am in a stressfull job and very unfexible. I have a lot of working hours and would love some DND to ground me back into reality and have at least some fun, but yeah. I dont know how this ususally goes (Dischord, Post Threads? I guess that would make things easier). So PbP would actually be THE thing for me, since I can do it flexible!
Lastly: I have a Roughe High Elf from a previous Campaign, she is currently Lvl 4 but if it can be reset, i'd be willing to do that. Her name's Cinnamon and she is a little snooty and self centered, but also young for an elf and inexperienced, so with time she can surely learn valuable lessons of companionship etc. She left her home after an incident and is since on the road more or less fleeing, looking for jobs to survive, lending her strenghts to whatever goal/party pays best.
So yeah. Just a short summary. I'd love to hear from you and would be pumped to play!!
Let me know if you still need more players! I'd love to join and can easily make the time.
If we're starting at a low level, I have two characters I'm thinking about using. Either a Warforged Bard of Creation, or a Bugbear Monk of Four Elements.
Trained a Platinum Knight, Serene has been sent forth by her Master to make her mark on the world. Not the brightest, but definitely a strong, commanding presence.
No idea if this is open or not, sorry if I’m bothering you by asking if there’s any slots open?

Once adored by a loving family, Ember always loved the woodlands. Shunning her family, she agreed to run away with a wandering rogue only to discover that the kind stranger was a shapeshifter. This shapeshifting elven traitor revealed her half-elf heritage and enticed her to return to her homeland. Filled with outrage, Ember raced home to find it burning. Since then, she is distrustful of elves. In her grief, she begged Pelor, the god of her adopted family, to send her his favor in avenging her family. Pelor gave her the gift of a Jackal named Aldus, who speaks directly to her mind and guides her in her paths. When Ember returned to the shapeshifter, he had gone. She travels the woodlands throughout the continent looking for the shapeshifter and taking odd jobs to support her endeavors. She has used this time to learn about many cultures and societies as well as fighting styles.
APPEARANCE
Ember stands tall for a half elf at 6'0." Her appearance is primarily human but her sickly pale skin gives her elf lineage away. Tucked behind her long, thin ears is her brown hair which hangs limply around her shoulders. She clothes herself in light armor made of deer hides she crafts herself. As she turns to look at you, her eyebrows arch upwards at the ends, giving away her wisdom beyond her years and the perception of one who has betrayed and been betrayed before.
OTHER
Companion Jackal named Aldus
