"It's not very much to go on," the elf muttered, knitting her brows. "After twelve years, you haven't made much progress, have you?" She didn't leave him much room to answer, before tilting her head and questioning the god once more. "What is it exactly you want from us?" She lifted the staff to include the others in the room.
"Gods. Cannot. Meddle. Human. Affairs." he stated, clearly frustrated "I was hoping you all weren't fools".
"I cannot simply go down their myself and destroy this virus. that would ruin everyone's small minds. I need you to find Illthya, find what god he is living under, and destroy him before everyone in the four kingdoms is dead"
Wyatt thought for a moment. "But wouldn't by summoning us here and telling us what we need to to do be counted as meddling in human affairs? Or is it different because you are not personally interfering? And if this 'Illthya' was serving under a god, wouldn't you be able to sense it and find out yourself? Why are gods so convoluted about everything?!?!"
"To your first question. H M a god trying to find another god who is equally powerful. where is your logic there young one?" he said and poked Wyatt's head with one of his golden fingers. "second by calling you here, just the few of you, i am not personally interfering." he said, waving his hands in the air a bit "sending you out will not break anyone that see's you. your lucky right now im not showing off my full power" he said and folded his arms
"My logic was that, regardless of power, you should still be able to sense the god, or the absolute absence of one if they try to conceal their presence! If they are equally as powerful as you, that would mean you should still be able to sense them, since they challenge your power." Wyatt crossed his arms. "Just 'cause I'm a child doesn't mean I don't understand how things should and shouldn't work." He huffed a bit. "But if you're not as powerful as you make yourself out to be, I understand why you would get mortals to assist you, and I was definitely a right choice. Just tell us where we can begin our quest." He had a bit of a smug look.

The sun god to a long and audible sigh. "When you wake up , you will be in my main church. go to the west side tavern and look for a woman named Paige. she will give you what you need"

"Forgive the mess, I am trying to regain my sanity again."
Tanbright, a slender woman with long brown hair, green eyes, and a green fur lined gown covering what was likely to be chain mail, carrying a staff bowed to the god before her. “I understand Great One. It has ever been my duty to serve the needy and protect the innocent, as well as watch over those who fight against evil.”
She turns to the others. “Let us depart then and see what information we can glean from this Paige.”
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone, there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
"Very well warriors. you have my blessing in this land but be warned, if you travel beyond, there are other gods that may not look kindly upon your entrance." he said.
With a wave of his hand the surroundings around each of you becomes dark. you wake in a slightly destroyed church. the church itself seems to be made of sandstone. 16 pews of wood sit in neat and orderly rows. a large stain glass window shines bright colors like a spotlight on your waking bodies.

Odessa slowly pushes herself up into a sitting position. Her braids, frayed from sleeping, hang limply as sweaty loose tendrils of hair are stuck to the back of her neck. She crosses her legs under her and begins to look around the interior of the church. She watches Wyatt at the window for a moment sensing, a familiar aura about him. Questions are running through her mind again and she gives the same tilted head, furrowed brow look as before, though this time she doesn't speak the questions aloud. Instead, she slowly stands, her cape still crumpled at her feet and turns slowly to take in the various areas of the church.
Odessa is looking to see if there is a way to communicate back to the Sun God from this holy place.
Isa, a tall human in an thick coat despite the current heat, looks groggily around the area he was placed in. He walks over to a pew, sitting in it. "I did not expect to wake up in a church. Been a while since i've properly prayed." He sighs, muttering a small prayer before standing again.

Looking to the others as he blinks his large perceptive eyes, the small owl says,"I am Otheym by the way. We should likely know each others names if we are to be working together."He then walks over towards the parchment that he sees flapping in the wind and reaches his feathered arm under to pluck at it to see what it shows.
While reading, Otheym also thinks back to anything he can recall about the Sun god they just met that might help them. Any common enemies, his ‘rank’ in their Parthenon… religion 19

Odessa wanders over to inspect the golden basin that caught her eye. As she looks over it, the soft glow of the amber liquid inside reflects a warm glow on her pale face with its smattering of freckles. She looks over the basin trying to ascertain how it is used. ((investigation or religion: 4))
"I think that is a most reasonable way to start," Odessa says, her voice thick and groggy with the morning. She yawns into her sleeve and clears her throat a bit. "Thank you Otheym. I am Odessa, and," she glances back down at the basin, "..... not particularly religious. Hopefully, that isn't too disadvantageous to this little job we've been lumped into together." The elf gave a self-depreciated smirk and lifted an eyebrow.

"Isa? Nice to meet you. Is the child yours?" Odessa nodded to Wyatt, trying to find the responsible party, wherever he had moved off to since she last seen him by the window.
Is Wyatt an actual child? or rather does he look like a child? I saw "10 yo smile" earlier.

“<name of sun god>((I assume with my roll I’d at least know his name :P ))isn’t who I worship either. I find ones strength comes from within.” Otheym replies. “This sickness though, that comes from without, and must be dealt with.”
