Arranged in order you see hats, scarves, tunics, robes, gloves, and other apparel embroidered with the Strixhaven star or with the sigil of any of Strixhaven's colleges. Costs range from 5 cp to 5 gp
You spot at the back of the counter several bundles sporting colors from the different colleges in Strixhaven and name tags.
In addition to nonmagical gear and clothing, the store also contains some magic items:
Vivi sees the cuddly mascot and instinctively picks it up and hugs it. As she releases the hug, the mascot attaches itself to her arm. For a moment she silently freaks out, unaware of the toy's magical properties. It's not until she tries pushing the mascot that it falls off her arm and onto the ground. She quickly picks up the toy, looks at the price, screams internally, and places it back on the shelf.
Pick fiddles with his hair and horns. As well he uses prestidigitation to play some minor pranks, some sparks here, some fart smells there. All and all no one is safe from his jokes, but nothing mid meant by them. He waits for another mischievous kid to notice him, or to himself notice a beautiful satyr or Tabaxi girl. He’s not looking to flirt Per-say, but he doesn’t avoid the chance to either. He really just wants to get through orientation. And graduate, and go back to the fey wind. It’s not like he really wanted to be here…
he says out load in that way you secretly want to be heard “when is the show gonna start?” People watching again and lounging about with one of his feet up on the furniture.
As Hans comes in through the large double doors, he shifts into a more bipedal stance as he no longer feels the need to rush, though he still stays somewhat stooped. He sniffs the air inside, and, always eager to try new recipes, lets his nose lead him to check out the café's (B6) current selection. He comes to the counter by the manager, and asks:"What yous serve today?"

"I knew I wasn't wrong about you" says the dryad again from behind - She pushes her thick glasses up her nose " First of all this is not a show and the acceptance letter was pretty clear go to the Oracle's Hall... now, are you in the oracle's hall? NO! you are in the middle of the entrance being mischievous as I initially predicted..." - Again she doesn't wait for an answer and continues " you better find a team soon, though anyone worthy of a team is already in one -she fixes a strand of hair putting it behind an ear - I know that because I'm already in onewith very prestigous members." - says almost just to herself but making sure that you can hear.
You turn around and notice just the dryad said a lot of groups already reading through a piece of paper and then discussing things. The few that aren't in a group is a short troll with long limbs (both of his arms are being dragged as he walks cluelessly trying to understand what's going on. A half orc eating his weight in sandwiches from the café, a human covered in tattoos, dark boots and piercings with both of his arms in his pants pockets. A girl being scared of the price of every item in the store, a goblin carrying a frying pan and a big wooden spoon on his other hand and an Aarockran being being the last student to enter the Biblioplex. Every cute Tabaxi or Satyr that you can spot is already working in a group or relaxing at the café.
"Well I got to get going, maybe I won't see you around much it seems like orientation has prooved to be too hard for you" she starts laughing loudly and then as if she would've caught herself doing something she is not supposed to do, stops laughing and goes away embarrased.
The manager seems to be struggling with the high concurrence of the students in the small café but still manages to smile and answers "Toasted cockatrice's gizzards on rye well, that's today's special but we also have cheese, different sausages sandwiches, bagels, doughnuts, you name it....oh and coffee of course."
Vivi exits the store and notices that students are starting to form groups. She can't recall the reason why, but gives into the peer pressure and looks for a group of her own. The aasimar spend several minutes walking around, but most groups have already reached their capacity. Vivi stands in the center of the hall deliberately making herself look alone, so that any other people without a group can easily find her.
Really? Oooh, you mean Calf? We call him that because he killed a guy, on the job with his calves. He took me under his wing when I got in trouble a couple times. He bailed me out, and taught me my first spells. I can't thank him enough. He even got me HERE!!!
"That doesn't sound like him at all haha, but I only knew him as a faculty member. I'm Ok as long as he keeps being a good guy and care about others like he did here."
No it doesn't sound like him, does it. Well, to be fair, he was saving me from someone trying to kill me, I may or may not have had a "small" dept, and he would have died if he hadn't killed the man.
((the spoiler cointains a report card that everyone here should save somewhere and update as needed, Right now Louvel will need to register in the job section:
A student who works a Job gains 5 gp at the start of each week that they hold the Job. If a student quits during the academic year, they stop earning this money at the end of the week in which they quit.
You can also build Relationship points with other students sharing the same job. Following Louvel's example Brok mentioned that you'll be working with another applicant, Brok overtakes cleaning and overall maintenance which is not part of a student worker responsabilities))
You are free to navigate the biblioplex as you wish, I shared brief descriptions of each area, right now even when orientation is being held at the oracle's hall the biblioplex seems to be holding almost new students exclusively, some are followign some kind of scavenger hunt and others are relaxing in tables or couches. If you wish to explore something in detail let me know to elaborate as appropriate.
Enchanted marble steps lead up 5 feet to a small plaza at the Biblioplex's entrance (B1). The double door's vertical handles are each carved in the likeness of a robed scholar.
Inside of the building on the west end (B2) luxurious couches and sturdy tables furnish this spacious area. Each table holds piles of magazines, newsletters, flyers, and nonmagical scrolls from around campus.
(B3) This area is holds groups of students, some older and groups of 1st year students enjoying themselves. Many enjoy food and drinks from the café (B6).
Three faculty-appointed reference librarians work at each of these circular desks (B4).
This small shop (B5) is stocked with books, equipment, and gear useful as academic supplies.
(B6) One wall of this area is covered with a mural made from a living tree's roots, which move occasionally and make the entire place feel alive. The ceiling is covered in painted leaves, which change colors depending on the season thanks to a permanent illusion effect. The magic also prompts painted squirrels to run up and down the mural's roots, and painted birds to chirp among the leaves.
You can see one person working and she holds a name tag on her apron: Aisla Fitzbottom - café's manager.
The café always serves coffee and tea, which costs 1 cp per cup. The sandwich of the day varies.
(B7) Each of these halls hosts interdisciplinary lectures for Strixhaven students. The seats magically grow or shrink to comfortably accommodate students of any size or body type. The halls' acoustics are magically enhanced to amplify the professor's lecture and minimize the disruption of side conversations. While a class is in session, each hall holds a professor and up to thirty students.
(B8) These open study areas feature simple wooden tables and chairs.
(B9) In these quiet areas, students sit on the grass and study among lush foliage.
(B10) Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves fill the center and the east end of the library's first floor, with the denser east stacks under a magic effect that shifts them when students approach, creating space to stand single-file between them.
(B11) This hallowed hall is filled with statues of the university's past Oracles. At the center of the hall, a pulsing ball of magical energy fills the area with bright light
(B12) This crisp-looking room features white walls and columns that stretch from floor to ceiling. Displayed on or within these are art pieces representative of various media.
(B13) This impressive stage is used for lectures, for assemblies, and as a gathering place in case of emergencies. Magic steps lead up to the stage from the floor of the library.
(B14) This room is filled with tables and chairs and is available to any student organization registered with Strixhaven for use as a meeting place, rehearsal facility, or crafting site, or for other approved purposes.
(B15) Filled with wooden tables and benches, this room has a flag displaying the Strixhaven star symbol hanging on its back wall.
Upper Floors (new students aren't being encouraged to go upstairs but the area is open to anyone interested.)
(B16) Rooms on the Biblioplex's second floor can be accessed only with keys held by faculty members
(B17) These private offices are for students working on their theses.
(B18) This rest area is designed to help stressed-out senior students unwind. Large tables are set up for gaming and shelves are filled with recreational reading material. The area can be accessed only through the advanced student stacks.
(B19) This area on the library's third floor holds copies of most of the mundane, widely available written works in the multiverse. The books are inscrutably cataloged, so it's almost impossible to find anything without requesting information from a reference librarian
I would like to fly up the B10 area, grabbing 7 random books, and fly to B4 to check them out, also, what do I see along the way.

"Cocka-threes? ...three roosters? Sounds yum-yum! I's have that, and some koo-fee, thanks you", Hans says after a short thought. He takes his coin pouch from his belt, and adds: "What coinses?"
After paying for his purchase, he puts the sandwich in his pot, and takes the cup of coffee in his free hand. He then looks around, decides the tables outside the café are full enough already, and moves to the tables on the opposite side of the lobby (B2). As he's moving there, he hears the Satyr speaking to him and turns towards them. "Oh, hellos! Hans came to learn more magic cookery! Or alkee-me, as the mister callsed it. And maybe hes finally find friendses too!" he answers eagerly. After a second he realizes to add: "What is goat-mans name?"

Up there you spot a couple of other winged students checking the stacks of books timidly and being intimidated by the cogwork archivist that are organizing the books - which seemed to be a neverending task as stacks move magically to reach other archivist or faculty members. Even when most of the occupants of the biblioplex are new students, many older students are seeing taking books or going to the upper floors.
Every book seemed to be some sort of introductory textto magic in a basic level for magic users. B4 is pretty much a small desk where faculty members provide information - pretty much and information module - after balancing your books to reach the ground to check them out you find that is hard to make your way somewhere else due to the sheer amount of people walking by, waiting for their turn in the oracle's hall or simply waiting after finishing whatever activity they were instructed to do.
As time goes by there's a lot of groups being formed and you notice that soon you might be left alone.

Couple of things before we continue with this:
1.- I don't like PvP actions when we haven't establish any type of rapport beforehand 2.- Managing to do that would take at least one contest roll which I'm not condoning anyways so I won't ask you guys to roll for that. 3.- Remember that we don't know you and we can't know why or how you are processing this type of behavior. 4.- Putting the books from the pile into your bag without properly asking for them, will get you in trouble. Your background isn't exactly the best one for this type of things so I could easily have the faculty punish you for that but I rahter give you a warning because I'm not sure what is your background as I D&D player and I guess I failed to set some ground rules. 5.-I mean this in the most respectful manner and would like to empahsize that I do like your character concept but maybe this isn't the type of game/DMing that you are used to. 6.-That being said I would encourage you to take a different route for your action.

Oh, for the books, this is after I have checked them out. The reason for this action (stealing the coffee) is so that my character learns how mannerisms work at Strixhaven. I was planning on having to pay for a new coffee to give to the goblin afterward.
(If that's the type of set up you're going for, it'd be best to get an OK from the other player OOC via the discord. That way we can avoid any misinterpretations, and both players are agreeing to pvp knowing what the full encounter will include.)
As Hans is focusing on greeting the Satyr he just met, the Aracockra easily steals his coffee. "Wah! That not nice! I's had to pay coin for that!" he exclaims.
