Nina gives Rashima an amused and playful roll of her eyes, letting her hands return to the strap of her bag once she's finished her handshakes. "Ideally you won't need to duel anyone. We haven't been here that long. I'd prefer we don't get into too much trouble immediately." Nina pauses for a moment before shifting her weight between her heels and toes, simply smiling between everyone. "Regardless, I believe we're all in agreement to find somewhere less populated that serves beverages. So, unless any of us happens to know somewhere specific, shall we ask about or just pick a direction and start wandering?"

The four of you are easily able to find beverages at the festival. All of the local taverns have provided lunch for free, which of course includes some barrels of the best brews that they have on hand. It appears that most people are attracted to the lunch provided by the Rusty Dragon, which is serving curry-spiced salmon and early winterdrop mead, but you also spot the Hagfish’s lobster chowder and the White Deer’s peppercorn venison, as well as some seasonal brews that are served by both establishments.

"Trouble is a relative term," Rashimi informs Nina matter-of-factly before they go to find drinks.
Despite her prior comments, Rashimi doesn't actually seem too interested in an alcoholic beverage, instead contenting herself with an apple cider. She does, however, seem quite interested in the lobster chowder, getting herself a cup with a cheerful grin. "I've never been close enough to the coast to have lobster before!"
Nina simply shakes her head with a smile at Rashimi before moving to get herself a drink as well, opting to go nonalcoholic with a simple fruit based punch. After a moment she speaks simply. "Neither have I. Nybor isn't too far from the bay, but don't tend to encounter a lot of lobster in a farming town. Besides, Kenji isn't the biggest fan of swimming. So, I doubt he'd enjoy the coast and beach that much." Nina gets herself a serving of the lobster chowder as well before turning her attention on Kraig and Zelvo curiously with a friendly smile. "Anyway, what about you two? Ever been to the coast before, well, now I suppose? It seems pretty nice here! I'd hope the bay is pretty nice as well."

Zelvo smirked at Rashimi and seemed about to add something to her statement, only to chuckle and shake his head as the group moved on for drinks. But whereas some shyed away from alcoholic, the man happily grabbed at least two mugs worth of the Rusty Dragon's winterdrop mead and spiced salmon to go, if giving half the chance at least! After slamming back the first mug in one go and letting out a satisfied sigh, he turned to Nina with a crooked grin. "Me? Why my lady I've been to many a place, if I were to be honest. Not beyond region mind you. But my travels have taken me far further than any kin I know of back a good ways east down near the greater river. Which, I always tend forget the name of, to be honest." He chuckles again. "... Still! It's not all too often I get such a fine free meal or so friendly a company, so this has all been a welcome change of pace for me."

Kraig picks up a steaming trencher of the peppercorn venison. He sees the pixie and sorceress opt for non-alcoholic options and winces, absent-mindedly rubbing the back of his neck, but relaxes a bit when he spots Zelvo. Kraig hustles over to the bartender, "Oi, lassie. Can I get a flagon, filled with yer favorite whiskey?" After getting food and drink sorted out, he sets down with his new acquaintances. The professor pipes up behind a mouthful of food and whiskey, "Aye, on a research trip t' the ruins o' Azlant. Very interesting ruins, possibly early Thassilonian architecture, but tha diving gear were mighty itchy!" Another pull from his flagon to wash it down, "Excuse me. He expresses while looking into the contents of his mug. "And if you know anything about Desna, her faithful aren't often want to stay in one place anyhow."He looks up with a smirk. Rashimi makes angry squinty eyes at the mention of Thassilon and eats her chowder.
As Nina addresses Kraig in Thassilonian, she glances between the two curiously, her wings rustling at her back. Something you've probably noticed since we sat down is that even when Rashimi is technically still, there's always something moving about her, adding to her air of constant, almost frenetic, energy.
Though its fairly clear that 'Thassilonian researcher' rung no bells in Zelvo, he grinned in agreement to the sentiment on ruins, and seemed to drift off again in thought. But only for a brief few moments this time around, as the smell of food drew him back to the present ready to dive right back into the meal. "Eh, uh... you aight there, 'Shimi?"Zelvo asked, having apparently already decided on a nickname for the fairy. "You seem kinda jittery. Somethin' on your mind?"He adds still past a mouthful of salmon before finally swallowing the mass.

OOC: The ruins of Azlant is NOT close to us, But out across the sea we are on the coast of. He was responding to Nina’s question of whether he’d been where fresh seafood was before.
Nina pauses, giving a slightly concern frown followed by a curious look to Rashimi as she's addressed by the nickname. For a moment she seems like she's going to say something but shakes her head, returning her attention to Kraig. "Giants are interesting too! Although I haven't seen one in person; Mainly just through studying. They're rather big, right? I don't suppose Piper would enjoy the size of their teeth though..." This thought seems to amuse Nina for a moment before she shrugs with a smile and quickly moves on. "Regardless, I believe we could go down to the coast if we wanted to. After our meal of course! Rashimi's gaze whips around to fasten on Zelvo, eyes narrowing. "My name is Rashimi, or Wind-Forger. Only family shortens my name or uses my child one. And I just fidget a lot." She shrugs, the flash of glaring intensity fleeing her face as quickly as it came. "My father always said it was the wanderlust of the First World. Although the still heat's not helping," she adds with a frown. "It's always so hot in the lowlands, even when it's supposed to be winter."
Zelvo is taken aback and immediately puts both hands up in surrender. "Sorry, sorry, Mrs. Rashimi."Said with a touch of mirth to his voice. "Meant no offense. But the First World, you say? Hm..." He lowers his hands except the one to rub his chin. "Sounds familiar. Pretty sure that's where, uh... the gnomes were said to come from to." He then looks to Rashimi, noting her petite size. "... Explains a lot tho'." Without further explanation on that point, he briskly goes on to address the group, "Ah, uh, eh! Why not? “Aye, Nina. They’re…” Kraig’s eyes go distant, and the dwarf appears to be reliving some memory, “Colossal, powerful beings from time immemorial. They predate the Thasillonian empire and much of our recorded history.
