Can character sheet wait until the group has been selected?
I'd be great to have it now if you can. Having character sheets from everyone gives me lots of info about their characters (where you put your scores, proficiencies, feats, spell list, etc) that I don't have otherwise and helps me both select the 6 and work on preparing some possible early encounters

Done. I'd like to have the option to change spells depending on the anticipated RP/Combat ratio, and I wasn't sure if Tasha's expanded lists were allowed: I added Augury, but can replace it with something else if desired (again, perhaps influenced by RP/Combat ratios).
Edit: I'd also be interested to know if he has the capacity to have more spells in his spell book as a result of travels/work etc?

Tasha's expanded lists are not allowed, and for the moment, no additional spells in your spell book. Don't worry too much about the exact details of your list right now: I'm perfectly fine with people who are selected changing 1-2 spells once they have a better idea of what the party looks like before we really get going.
Fixed. Are you able to suggest the rough combat/rp ratio you expect/plan to have?
I would expect the campaign to lean about 55/45 RP to Combat, although it will also depend on the answer of the selected players to the question about it in the application
Will update below once I've had chance to build a character.
Character Name: Elandra Patron God and their Domain: Tymora - Trickery Alignment: Chaotic Good Race: Half Elf Class/Subclass:Bard / College of Lore Character Backstory (before becoming your god's champion, 3-5 sentences):
Landrae was born to Lovissae and Mal who worked and performed in a travelling troupe, her elven mother a singer and seamstress, her human father a carpenter, illusionist, and lyrist. As the troupe evolved, faces she had known since childhood settled down, and the troupe began to stay in familiar towns for extended periods of time. Still enraptured by the world, and her wanderlust ever gnawing at her, Landrae said her farewells and set out on her own.
She travelled for a few years, roaming far and wide, playing in taverns, or at campfires on the road. Getting by with her looks, her voice, and her music. When staying in a city inn one night, her performance caught the ear of a member of the household staff for the lord of the region. So impressed, the lord was convinced to give the young minstrel an audience, and through that performance was Landrae given her first patronage.
The desolation that came with Talos's ascendance wrought havoc in the realm, and the lord that had offered her patronage perished in the ensuing turmoil. Elandra took her songs to the people, doing what she could to help in the only way she knew how.
Why did your god choose you? Why are you (and by extension your god) choosing to join this alliance to oppose Talos?:
Elandra has wandered the lands recounting the old tales, the times before Talos' dominion when people lived their lives mostly oblivious to the sway of the divine. She tries to bring hope to those that have lost it, and joy. Singing stories and raising hopes isn't enough for Elandra though, she seeks a way to change things, to end the strife. Tymora steered her course towards the other chosen, a chance to live in the tales she sing of, to bring about the change she dreams of.
As a player, what percentage of your enjoyment of DnD comes from combat vs roleplaying? This depends on the campaign and character. Generally I enjoy combat and roleplay to an equal degree when they are both done well, so more of one or the other doesn't alter my enjoyment of the game. I like to have a feel for which is more prevalent before character creation normally, so I can lean slightly towards the more common pillar.
How many times per day on average will you be able to post?: It varies depending on the day and how involved my PC is in the scene. I am usually good for daily short posts (particularly where combat is concerned), longer or more RP centric posts might come at differing intervals depending on the flow of everyone else's posting (if we are awaiting information before continuing the dialog) and how busy my life is that day.
Just checking, but I'm pretty confident based on previous answers... Racial stat boosts are staying where they are and no optional rules / extended lists from other sources are allowed?
This has made me realise how helpful a feature to select your sourcebooks during character creation would be.

Racial stat boosts stay as is, and there’s no optional rules or extended lists as most of that comes from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. And I agree, that feature would be great
Character Name: Wind Stream Patron God and their Domain: Primordial God Istishia; Life/Nature (either way, whichever you choose fits better) because life cannot survive without water. Alignment: Chaotic Good Race: Aarakocra Class/Subclass: Blood Hunter Character Backstory (before becoming your god's champion, 3-5 sentences): Unknown. Wind Stream was found coming through a river (which was going through a portal to the Primordial Realm) by his future brother, Akrius, when he was just a young child (2 in Aarakocra years). Why did your god choose you? Why are you (and by extension your god) choosing to join this alliance to oppose Talos?: While it may seem beneficial for water elementals to have open access to the world, it is actually negative for them. They are in a war with the air elementals, and they are losing. In order to end this war, Istishia, the King of Water, sent his adoptive son, Wind Stream, to defeat Talos, and bring a calm back to Istishia's waters. The choice of choosing his own son was a hard one to make, but Wind is the only person Istishia trusts, who is also a native species of the land. His relationship to water is that of blood, because blood is 90% water. He uses his killing capabilities to kill old life, and bring new life. As a player, what percentage of your enjoyment of DnD comes from combat vs roleplaying?: I enjoy both equally well. When in combat, I like doing lots of combos, but when I roleplay, I get really into my character's background. How many times per day on average will you be able to post?: I can post about 5-8 times a day, but only 1 or 2 on the weekends. Character Sheet Link:Wind Stream - D&D Beyond (dndbeyond.com)

Character Name: Glorium Hamm Patron God and their Domain: Tyr, War Alignment: LG Race: Half Orc Class/Subclass: Paladin (oath of vengeance) Character Backstory (before becoming your god's champion, 3-5 sentences): Glorium was born and raised with dwarven kind and with her added bulk she was sent to do a lot of manual labor, eventually she found her calling when she saw a master smith. She knew that she must beat him and become better than him, after he teaches everything he knows. Working at the smithy, Glorium loves working with his hands and tries to make the best armour, better than what one can buy. One faithful day the forces of Talos have arrived and tore down not only the town but the smithy as well. Glorium was filled with righteous anger at the evils that destroyed and vowed to destroy every last one of them. Why did your god choose you? Why are you (and by extension your god) choosing to join this alliance to oppose Talos?: Wanting justice from the destruction of property and the village, Glorium was blessed by Tyr and Glorium will do anything in his power to destroy all forces of Talos, including Talos himself. Hey everyone! I'm going to leave this open until Midnight CST, at which point I will send out invites to everyone I'd like to have in our adventuring party! I'm still seeing lots of posts that don't follow the rules (gods and characters without the same domain, content not from the allowed sources, multiclassing), so make sure to change that before tonight if you want to be considered!
